With the increasing multi-polarization of the world and the globalization of economic coverage,science and technology and innovation have become the backbone of social development,and this social background has placed higher demands on science education.At this time,STEAM education has received extensive attention from educators at home and abroad for its advanced educational concepts such as the emphasis on interdisciplinary knowledge integration and application,and on the practical experience of students.This study systematically combs and interprets the existing STEAM education theory and practice research at home and abroad,so as to clarify the connotation of STEAM education and the implementation path of teaching;and select the representative Xingqing District Primary School to conduct the investigation of the current situation of elementary science curriculum.And interviewed teachers responsible for the construction and teaching of STEAM courses in the school to lead and design science courses in the perspective of STEAM education.On this basis,from the connotation of the STEAM educational concept and the practical and comprehensive nature of the science curriculum,the nature of the science curriculum and the curriculum design concept under the vision of STEAM education concept are clarified;The objectives of the science curriculum for elementary school are to examine the dimensions of knowledge and skills,processes and methods,as well as emotions,attitudes and values,and to combine science,engineering,mathematics and art closely related to scientific concepts to achieve the goals of science courses in the context of STEAM education.Presupposition;combined with the relevant characteristics of STEAM education concept,established the selection criteria of STEAM course content,and based on this,clarified the approximate scope of STEAM course content;finally,combined with the application mode of STEAM course proposed by Professor Fu Wei,based on different The course content is designed for scientific verification,inquiry application,imitation manufacturing and design creation teaching and learning activities.Based on this,the fifth-grade science curriculum of the primary school was selected for teaching practice.The "sports and strength" teaching unit was selected as a case to demonstrate the project implementation process.Finally,through statistics and analysis of students' comprehensive knowledge of learning interests,scientific literacy,innovation literacy and teamwork awareness,curriculum project results and interviews with science teachers,the final conclusion:based on the STEAM education concept The teaching of science courses is feasible and effective for the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability.
