STEAM education is widely carried out all over the world.It can cultivate students' innovation,cooperation,and problem-solving abilities,and enhance students' interest and knowledge base in STEAM-related disciplines.Carrying out STEAM education in our country is in line with the needs of our country's talent goal training in the new era.For the implementation of STEAM education in elementary school,elementary science curriculum is a good curriculum practice carrier: advocating interdisciplinary learning methods and incorporating corresponding concepts into science curriculum are conducive to the cultivation of students' innovative ability.Incorporating the interdisciplinary nature of the content of STEAM education activities,the contextuality of the activity,the cooperation in the implementation of the activity,and other advantages into the elementary school science curriculum,can enrich the practice style of the elementary school science curriculum,and work together to improve the scientific literacy of the primary school students.In the lower grades of elementary school,science courses have been implemented since the fall semester of 2017,and the corresponding practical research is relatively small.This study adopted the literature method,combined with relevant theoretical foundations,the current status of implementation of STEAM education and science education at home and abroad,and summarized four points based on elementary school science curriculum standards,highlighting the advantages of STEAM,fully considering the age characteristics of students,and absorbing existing research experience.The principle of activity design,from the basic information of the activity,activity content,teaching strategies,teacher guidance content,activity resources,activity implementation conditions,activity evaluation,etc.,do a good job in the early frame design of the activity,and propose a project activity design framework based on the concept of STEAM for the lower grades science curriculum of elementary school.In the application phase of the design framework,according to the ADDIE instructional design model,project activities were completely carried out from the five aspects of analysis,design,development,implementation,and evaluation.For students in the lower grades of elementary school,the learning of scientific knowledge needs to combine their age characteristics and existing knowledge level.Therefore,the activity first analyzes the actual recruited students to understand their existing knowledge level.On this basis,according to the activity framework,the corresponding activity themes,activity objectives,activity key and difficult points,teaching strategies,teaching resources,activity contents and teacher guidance contents were developed respectively,and the above-mentioned preset contents were implemented.Through the observation method,the video of the course activities and the product design of the students were recorded,and the behaviors of teachers and students and the products made by the students were analyzed afterwards.The course activities themselves,the products of the students,and the behaviors of the teachers and students in the activities were evaluated,summarized and reflected.The lack of this activity,and proposed improvements to the activity plan.This study has room for further improvement in the scope of activity implementation,activity design and implementation,and further research on activity evaluation is needed.
