In today's world,scientific discoveries and technological innovations are constantly emerging,providing possibilities for human beings to understand and rationally use nature on a larger scale and at a deeper level.Education is an important means of cultivating new-type technical talents.Integrating technology into education and teaching can be more conducive to cultivating talents that meet modernization.In2016,the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for Education Informationization" issued by the Ministry of Education also clearly stated that it is necessary to improve education informationization and realize inquiry teaching.Educational games are a new type of teaching that combines education and games.In the process of game learning,students can think about problems from multiple angles,comprehensively use different disciplines knowledge and skills to solve problems,and effectively help students to define the scientific knowledge value and application fields.The core of educational games is learning in practice,without limiting educational methods and teaching methods.National and educational researchers encourage the use of technology tools or system platforms for game learning,creating an online and offline learning environment.Game-based learning eliminates the boundaries between learning and gaming,formal learning and informal learning,and effectively enhances students' interest in learning,immersion,and self-efficacy.In the technology-driven digital learning environment,the convergence of games and various emerging technologies is obvious,providing new ideas for the development of educational games.The core issue of this research is the design and development of the first-year science course game based on Unity 3D under the educational concept.On the basis of reading a large amount of literature,the author analyzes the research status of "game-based learning","educational games","scientific games","primary school science",etc.,reviews the research status and carries out related concept definition and theoretical analysis.Secondly,the domestic and international large-scale virtual educational games and virtual learning environment related projects "Games-to-Teach" project,"Teaching with Game" project,Second Life case study,summarizing the knowledge content,storyline,game scene in the gamification learning environment The design idea of task module integration,and the theory of cognitive development,constructivist learning theory,immersion theory,and experiential learning theory as the central guiding theory,proposes the design principles and strategies of the virtual learning game of the first-year science curriculum.Then draw the game design flow chart and game development flow chart with this principle and strategy,then design and implement the virtual game environment,and test and run the game and experiment.Finally,the author summarizes the process of game design and development and feedback of game experiments,analyzes the development prospects of the game and the shortcomings in the development process,hoping to make reference for other research related to game design and development.
