Modeling thought is one of the ten core concepts of the Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition),and “Modeling Thought” emphasizes the importance of mathematical modeling in mathematical learning as the only concept that names after “Thought” in ten core concepts.In the primary school mathematics teaching process,Modeling thought is helpful to improve students' interest in mathematics,application consciousness and mathematical accomplishment,and also help to cultivate students' creative thinking.From this we can see that it is of great significance to infiltrate Modeling thought into primary school mathematics teaching.This paper is based on the study of the Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition).Through consulting the relevant literature at home and abroad,the author has a preliminary understanding of how to define Model,Mathematical Model,Mathematical Modeling and Modeling thought.On the basis of primary mathematics textbooks from grade 1 to grade 6,the author will analyze and sort out the textbook content involving the Mathematical Model by dividing the primary mathematics into three learning phases according to “Number and Algebra”,“Graphics and Geometry”,“Statistics and Probability”,“Practice and Comprehensive Application” : primary phase(grade1-2),intermediate phase(grade3-4),advanced phase(grade5-6).Based on the experience of serving as a primary teacher and leading students to internship,the author intends to develop the specific teaching cases design and analysis from three aspects:Concepts,Graphics and Geometry and Problems Solving.In addition,the author investigated the status quo of training model thought in mathematics teaching in primary school in Hainan Province,according to the survey results for the training model of thought puts forward four strategies of decimal mathematics teaching:read the teaching material carefully,pay attention to the creation of problem situation,improve the learning of teachers' professional quality and comprehensive application,and attempts to provide reference for the front-line teachers to carry out Model Teaching.
