The green earth is the habitat for our human beings,therefore the survival of human beings is closely related to the green nature.With the continuous innovation of industrial technology,the application of new science and technology has been promoted,the social productive forces have increased rapidly,and the ability of human beings to utilize natural resources has been greatly improved.However,the division between man and nature is becoming more and more serious under the increasingly powerful ability of man to challenge and conquer nature.In order to pursue their own utilitarian goals and material enjoyment,human beings infinitely extract from nature,regardless of the consequences.As a result of the deterioration of the ecological environment,human beings are gradually losing the living environment that can be called "poetic habitat".After entering the 21 st century,"ecological deterioration" and "ecological problems" related to human and nature have become sensitive words in human eyes and aroused people's ecological awareness.Education bears the mission to cultivate people's ecological awareness,and for the country's future successor,middle school students,it will be more important to cultivate their ecological awareness of paying attention to the harmonious coexistence of human and nature.In normal course teaching,in addition to the sacred mission of cultivating students' ecological awareness by teachers of subjects like nature,biology,chemistry,etc.,under the current background,Chinese teachers in middle schools have an inescapable responsibility to enhance the cultivation of students' ecological awareness in teaching.The essence of cultivating ecological awareness in Chinese teaching is to integrate quality education into Chinese teaching,promote students' all-round development during their growth,and help students establish good ecological awareness.Therefore,the cultivation of ecological awareness has become an issue that can't be ignored.Based on the theories of Chinese teaching,pedagogy,psychology and ecology,this paper discusses the theoretical and practical significance of cultivating students' ecological awareness in the process of Chinese teaching.The full text consists of six chapters.Chapter One: Introduction.This paper explains the concern on ecological consciousness caused by the continuous deterioration of natural environment,and explores the possibility of cultivating students' ecological awareness by disseminating ecological theory through the ecological materials in Chinese textbooks.Chapter Two elaborates the works of Chinese textbooks for middle schools,sorting out the proportion of ecological consciousness content in Chinese textbooks and the different categories of ecological consciousness content.Chapter Three expounds the necessity and feasibility of ecological awareness education in Chinese teaching.It is an important way to help students establish ecological awareness to carry out ecological knowledge education.Chapter Four interviews and investigates the current situation of middle schools' Chinese teachers and students' ecological awareness,reveals the existing problems and analyses causes.Chapter Five puts forward the countermeasures of cultivating students' ecological consciousness in Chinese teaching in middle school.The content of ecological environment in Chinese textbooks is regarded as the carrier of ecological knowledge education among students.It is an important way to build harmonious development between human and nature.Chapter Six reflects on the students' ecological awareness education in the process of Chinese teaching.Therefore,educational theory needs to be realized in practice,and it is also the basic way to realize ecological awareness s education in Chinese teaching.
