| In January 2018,the State Council issued “Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening the Reform of Teaching Faculty Construction in the New Era”,which requires that we should build a high-quality faculty good at caring and educating babies and children,do well in constructing the major of preschool education,cultivate high-caliber,career-loving,children-oriented,virtuous and versatile kindergarten teachers,optimize the curriculum system of preschool education,highlight the integration of caring and educating babies and children,and reinforce practical courses,so as to cultivate the comprehensive capability of normal graduates majoring in preschool education and improve the overall talent cultivation quality.In order to meet the requirements of the social development for cultivating high-quality preschool education professionals,the curriculum reform of preschool education undoubtedly becomes an integral part of the training reform of this major.The curriculum development,content,implementation,and reform of Language Education of Preschool Children,an application-oriented specialized course,have a great effect on the overall curriculum system of preschool educationBased on this point,this paper,taking W College of Shandong Province as the case school,mainly explores the current teaching situation and reform strategies of the course entitled Language Education of Preschool Children.Based on questionnaires and interviews conducted in the classroom,this paper aims at developing a good understanding of the current teaching situation of this course and putting forward some problems this course has in the teaching process,which reside in the inconsistent connection of course content and practical activities of kindergarten language education,kindergarten teachers’ teaching incapability of kindergarten language education,students’ partial emphasis on capabilities in course training,and their fear of putting what they learn in this course into practice.This paper,through consulting a lot of references,learning some useful lessons obtained from the previous studies,and taking the reform tendency and orientation of preschool education curriculum system in Chinese colleges into account,not only analyzes the causes for these problems but also creatively suggests that we should develop campus textbooks with regional characteristics,make the teaching design of curriculum content more creative,strengthen the language training of teaching faculty,provide teachers with more practical chances at kindergartens,and improve students’ course training capabilities by making a good use of their advantages and interests. |
