The impoverished minority areas in southern Xinjiang are the“hard bones”in poverty alleviation.Poverty and education are particularly low.Long-term material capital input type "blood transfusion" poverty alleviation policy is difficult to achieve the final poverty alleviation goal in the short term.Therefore,an in-depth study on poverty alleviation in vocational education in minority areas in southern Xinjiang has great strategic significance for safeguarding ethnic Unity,long-term peace and security in Xinjiang,and the reunification of the motherland,and for realizing the poverty alleviation goals proposed by the Central and Autonomous Regions.Through investigation,case analysis and comprehensive analysis,this paper discusses the effectiveness and feasibility of vocational education participation in poverty alleviation and relief,and analyzes the present situation,measures and practices of vocational education participation in poverty alleviation and relief in ethnic minority areas in the four regions of Southern Xinjiang.This paper mainly studies the problems of vocational education in southern Xinjiang in poverty alleviation and puts forward some countermeasures.First of all,through literature research,summarized the main poverty governance related theory,on the basis of the definition of a clear core concept,consolidated the theoretical support of the paper research.The relationship between vocational education and poverty alleviation in poor areas is analyzed.Vocational education can accurately focus on the bottom social and poor groups;Through vocational technical education and training,the transformation from "blood transfusion" to "hematopoietic" is realized.At the same time,the link between vocational education and industrial economy is quite direct and very close.It can directly promote regional economic development and achieve accurate poverty alleviation while driving regional economic development.Secondly,this paper introduces the current situation of poverty in southern Xinjiang and makes an in-depth analysis of the causes of poverty.The four southern regions of Xinjiang are not only ethnic areas and border areas,but also concentrated in contiguous areas with special hardship.The natural conditions are harsh,the area is not sparse,the economic development is lagging behind,and the lack of population,resources,and environmental advantages is a typical "little,border,and poor" area.Due to the long-term concentration of ethnic minorities in the area,the ideology of "waiting,relying on,and demanding" is serious,the level of cultural education is low,the population’s cultural quality is low,backward ideas and thinking methods are difficult to communicate with the outside world,and technical skills are seriously lacking.Influencing and restricting the progress and effectiveness of Xinjiang’s poverty alleviation efforts.On the basis of visiting and investigating some vocational colleges in northern and southern Xinjiang,the author analyzes the development status of vocational education in southern Xinjiang,discusses the ways,measures,practices and experiences of poverty alleviation in vocational education,and discusses the results achieved.Finally,it analyzes the problems in poverty alleviation in vocational education in southern Xinjiang,which are mainly manifested in the lack of soft power in vocational education,the short time and lack of experience in poverty alleviation,and the imperfections in scale,conditions,mechanisms and safeguards.Vocational education plays an insufficient role in poverty alleviation.The author puts forward some suggestions to improve the quality of vocational education and social service ability.This article draws the conclusion from the analysis and research: First,poverty alleviation and relief is a long-term work.From the perspective of the development status quo of the four prefectures in southern Xinjiang and the status quo of poverty alleviation and development,the poverty alleviation and development of the four prefectures in southern Xinjiang has achieved certain achievements.Vocational education has played an active role in poverty alleviation,but it also has certain difficulties and problems due to various reasons.Second,eradicating the backward concept of the poor population is the key to consolidate the success of poverty eradication.The lack of vocational education is one of the important reasons for the poor population in rural areas.At present,the practice of participating in poverty alleviation in vocational education mainly focuses on the education of the children of poor families in terms of academic qualifications,labor force skills training,and service to the development of local industries.Therefore,the government,society,vocational colleges and universities,poor families and other aspects of the all-round poverty alleviation should be launched to achieve the ultimate goal of poverty eradication.
