Micro-video is a part of classroom teaching,in order to highlight a certain knowledge point or break through some teaching difficulties,some short videos are used to complete certain teaching tasks.Guided by audio-visual teaching theory,Micro-learning theory and constructivist learning theory,and according to the high school biology curriculum standard,this paper chooses and determines the content of micro-video based on the content of Biology Compulsory Course I in Senior High School of PEP,through teacher interviews and textbook analysis,this paper selects,collects and produces relevant micro-video,and establishes the database of key and difficult micro-video of teaching content,designs and implements micro-video assisted biology classroom teaching;and after the implementation of micro-video assisted biology classroom teaching in senior high schools to carry out student surveys.Statistical analysis of the survey results leads to the following conclusions:The results of the questionnaire show that micro-video assisted instruction can arouse students' interest: 81.13% of students are interested in biology before using micro-video,92.59% of students are interested in biology after using micro-video.Using micro-video to assist biology classroom teaching can strengthen the connection and application of biological knowledge in life;Before using micro-video teaching,41.51% of the students think that biology knowledge plays a great role in their life,and increased to 58.33% after using micro-video teaching;micro-video assisted classroom teaching helps to improve students' biology scientific literacy: the average score of students in the experimental class is higher than that in the control class,and the difference is significant;micro-video assisted biology classroom teaching helps to improve students' examination results: After one semester's practice of micro-video assisted instruction,the average score of the students in the experimental class is 4.73 higher than that of the students in the control class,and the difference is significant.In the process of assisting high school biology teaching with micro-video,it is found that the main problem is that the quality and quantity of micro-video about biology teaching in senior high school need to be improved.Therefore,it is suggested that we should develop microvideos suitable for biology classroom teaching in senior high school through the joint efforts of teachers and departments,establish microvideos Resource Bank of senior high school biology,and apply thesemicrovideos resources to biology classroom teaching in senior high school.
