Study On Moral Education In University Libraries

The university library is an important functional department in the cultural construction and moral education of University campus.It shoulders the educational responsibility of inheriting Chinese traditional culture,cultivating college students' good moral character and promoting the dissemination of advanced ideas.It is an important part of the moral education system of university.Although the current moral education in university library has achieved certain results,and the contents and forms of moral education are constantly enriched and developed,there are still some problems in the actual work of University library,such as the neglect of moral education activities,the singleness of moral education methods and the obscure effect of moral education.This is not consistent with the current advocacy of "all-staff education,all-process education,and comprehensive education." The moral education idea of "all-round education" is not consistent.Therefore,in the current environment of university education,it is necessary to carry out research on moral education in university library.Based on the need of expanding the functions of University Libraries and the current situation of moral education in university,starting with the practice of moral education in the library of Nanjing A University.This paper adopts the methods of literature analysis,case study and subject synthesis and through the elaboration of the relevant concepts and contents of moral education in University library,finds out and study university library moral education provides theoretical support.According to the results of questionnaire survey,business data and reading promotion activities,this paper explores the problems existing in the development of moral education in university library from the two-way perspective of University Students' use and library service management,and puts forward some measures to improve the moral education in University library.Faced with the changing educational environment,university library need to change their traditional working concepts as soon as possible.Moreover,strengthen the understanding of the importance of moral education,make full use of the advantages of library's cultural carrier and network information,run moral education through the library's management service,and constantly innovate the moral education mode in the traditional literature service and reading promotion activities.
