Practical Intervention On The Family-Work Role Conflict Of Advanced-Age Professional Women With Second Child

In 2016,the universal two-child policy was formally implemented.The implementation of this policy has a positive impact on China's modernization and population structure,and also has an impact on families,especially on women.On the one hand,women have increased their reproductive opportunities,while inevitably bringing the new problem of increasing the number of advanced-age mothers;on the other hand,it makes another challenge for professional women to balance work and family.Advanced-age women with second child will face the problem of reproductive pressure,the most onerous period of supporting children,and career rising at the same time,which make them more likely to face roles conflict,especially the family-work role conflict.The paper aimed to solve the problem of the family-work role conflict of advanced-age professional women with second child through group work intervention,and to provide some reference for the research.In the early stage of group activities,non-structured interviews,Grzywacz & Marks Family Work Conflict Scale,Index of Clinical Stress(ICS)and General Contentment Scale(GCS)were used to test the group members,and to analyze the specific performance and impact of the role conflict.Through six group activities,I assisted the service object in dealing with emotional and stress problems.I prompted the team members to orientate,identify and adjust their roles reasonably.During this process,the team members formed an interactive force to provide emotional and operational support to each other.At the later stage of group activities,I compared the pretest and post-test scores of the scale,evaluated the effect of group goals,and analyzed the changes of clients and the satisfaction degrees of clients.It was concluded that the intervention of group work can help to alleviate the emotional and psychological pressure of advanced-age professional women with second child,also to solve the kind of family-work role conflict,and to make their life return to normal.
