Phonetic teaching is the first step in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The monophthong of mandarin is the starting point for learners who from overseas to understand Chinese pronunciation,therefore,monophthong learning is especially important for Chinese primary learners.The learning process of monophthong is influenced by many factors,which will produce various biases,and Thai students are no exception.This article based on the theory of interlanguage,mark theory and comparative analysis in second language acquisition,analyzes the Chinese learner's monophthong acquisition in Wat Rangbua school in Thailand based on the author's practical experience.In this way,we will explore the acquisition of the tone of the Chinese middle school students,especially those who take Chinese as an interest.The author have collected the monophthong sound pronunciation of Thai students and analyze it with the Praat Chinese version software.The vowel V value and the formant peak value of the students analyzed by software are compared with the standard data to analyze the errors and characteristics of the middle school students' acquisition of the Chinese middle school students from a scientific perspective.In first chapter,we have reviewed the achievements of predecessors' speech research in Thai Chinese teaching,and introduced the theoretical basis and research methods of this paper.In second chapter,we were introduces the Chinese monophthong system and the Thai monophthong system,and summarizes the similarities and differences of monophthong between the mandarin and Thai.In third chapter,we talks about the tasks,objects and experimental processes of the speech experiment systematically,and provides a reference for the data analysis below.In the fourth chapter,through the data from software,we analyzed in detail the acquisition of the monophthong of Thai middle school students.The experimental results show that the best vowels learned by Thai middle school students are [i];followed by [a],[u],[(?)];vowel [o] is easy to turn into complex vowel,which isdifferent from the research results of some scholars;Finally,vowels [y],[(?)],[(?)],[(?)],students have many errors and complex types in the acquisition process.The fifth chapter and the sixth chapter,we summarizes the reasons for the errors based on the influence of the mother tongue,the influence of the Chinese language and the learners' own factors,and put forward their own suggestions and opinions through the experimental data on the pronunciation problems of the middle school students in Thailand.The seventh chapter is the summary of this article,but also some shortcomings and prospects for the future.
