The growth environment and process of minors play a key role in personal development.Compared with similar groups,minors in urban single-parent families have particularities in their living environment and family members,and are prone to self-identity dilemma.Relevant scholars mainly focus on the theoretical level of sociology,psychology and other disciplines.There are few studies on the self-identity dilemma of minors in urban single-parent families from the perspective of social work practice.Based on the author’s practical experience,this study takes the self-identity dilemma of urban single-parent family minors as the research content,and takes the single-parent family minors in J community as the research object.This study takes the linear increase of divorce rate in China as the background of the times,takes the growth problems faced by minors in urban single-parent families and the performance characteristics of minors in urban single-parent families as the research fulcrum,and explores the plight of minors’ self-identity and group work in urban single-parent families from the different aspects of individual identity,image identity and social identity.Intervention.In this study,"self-identity" was operationalized,and the needs of the subjects were assessed by questionnaires,interviews and participatory observation methods,and group work intervention was carried out according to their actual needs in order to achieve the goal of promoting the healthy growth of minors in single-parent families.There are six chapters in this paper.The first chapter is the introduction.The second chapter is about the growth problems faced by minors in urban single-parent families and their characteristics.The third chapter is the feasibility analysis and needs assessment of group work intervention.On the one hand,it describes the feasibility advantages of group work intervention,on the other hand,it understands the actual needs of the research object through needs assessment,which lays the foundation for the design of group work programme.Chapter IV is the design and implementation of group work intervention,which mainly includes the theoretical basis,design and implementation process of intervention program.The fifth chapter is to analyze the effectiveness of intervention by evaluating the team plan,team process and team effectiveness.Chapter 6 is the discussion and suggestions on the intervention of group work,and puts forward corresponding opinions and suggestions from different perspectives.This study will provide a realistic basis for relevant research,so that minors in urban single-parent families can better socialize.
