Knowledge heterogeneity is an important feature of knowledge-based teams,which refers to the degree of diversity of expertise owned by all members of the team and is closely related to team creativity.However,there are different conclusions,some researchers believe that knowledge heterogeneity can promote the formation of divergent thinking,stimulate innovative ideas,but also some researchers believe that the team may face knowledge uncoordinated,leading to conflict.For the differences between the two types of research,some researchers believe that the objective characteristic of knowledge heterogeneity alone is not the key to the effectiveness of the team,the team results may depend more on how the team's heterogeneity affects the team's creative process,in which the process of interactive behavior and implicit coordination may directly affect the role of knowledge heterogeneity,and then affect the creativity of the team.Therefore,the study attempts to investigate the relationship between knowledge heterogeneity,team interaction(controversy behavior,helping behavior,spontaneous behavior),transactive memory system and team creativity systematically.The study chose 63 teams from the Fourth "Internet+" college students' innovation and entrepreneurship competition in Hubei province as our subjects and investigated them with some questionnaires,and then used the bias-corrected percentile Bootstrap method to analyze the sequential mediating effects of team interaction and transactive memory system between knowledge heterogeneity and team creativity.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The overall level of the innovation and entrepreneurship team participating in the "Internet +" competition is high.The team has a high level of knowledge heterogeneity,more discussion and debate behavior,mutual help and spontaneous exploration behavior,a mature Transactive memory system,and a high team creativity.(2)The innovation and entrepreneurship teams has no differences in team size anddevelopment stages,but there are differences in awards.The study found that the level of team creativity measured by the scale and the awards were awarded in the competition had a significant positive correlation,team members perceive a level of team creativity that is in line with the actual level of the team.(3)Knowledge heterogeneity,team interaction and transactive memory system are important factors that affect team creativity.Three types of variables explain the 69%variation in team creativity,the impact size of the factors are,in turn,transactive memory system,spontaneous behavior,help behavior.Knowledge heterogeneity has a positive effect on team creativity,but it's used to be influenced by other factors,and the influence of spontaneous and helping behavior is more independent and stable.(4)The team interaction(controversy behavior,helping behavior,spontaneous behavior)and the transactive memory system play a sequential mediating role between knowledge heterogeneity and team creativity.The results indicated that,Knowledge heterogeneity affects team creativity mainly through three ways: through the mediating role of team interaction,especially the role of spontaneous and helping behavior;through the mediating role of transactive memory system;through the mediating roles of both team interaction(controversy behavior,helping behavior,spontaneous behavior)and the transactive memory system.
