The development of the knowledge economy has led to a growing number of complex research projects.However,complex scientific research problems are difficult to solve through a single discipline,it's often requiring cross-disciplinary teams with different professional backgrounds to complete.The integration and cross-cutting between disciplines in universities have also created the emergence of cross-disciplinary teams,due to the late start of cross-disciplinary teams in China,the innovation efficiency of cross-disciplinary teams is low.There are many factors that affect team innovation performance,leadership behavior of the team leader will influence the team's innovation performance,and the interactive memory system of the team's cognitive system will also affect the team's innovation performance.Through the literature search,it is found that there is still a lack of relevant research on cross-discipline teams in China's colleges.Research on the influence of paternalistic leadership and transactive memory systems on cross-disciplinary teams is also largely absent.Therefore,it is necessary to deeply and systematically study the impact of paternalistic leadership and interactive memory systems on cross-disciplinary team innovation performance.Based on the review of paternalistic leadership,interactive memory systems,and cross-disciplinary team innovation performance theory,this paper proposes research hypotheses and establishes a relationship model between the three variables.The questionnaire of this paper was designed based on the reference to the maturity scale.Use SPSS and Amos statistical analysis software to analyze the collected 394 data and verify whether the hypothesis is established.The findings are as follows:(1)Benevolent leadership positively affects cross-disciplinary team innovation performance,morality leadership also positively influence cross-disciplinary team innovation performance,authoritarian leadership negatively affects cross-disciplinary team innovation performance.(2)Benevolent leadership has a positive impact on the team's interactive memory system;Morality leadership also positively influences the team's interactive memory system;The authoritarian leadership is inconsistent with the assumptions and has no effect on the interactive memory system.(3)The interactive memory system plays an intermediary role between benevolent leadership and cross-disciplinary team innovation performance,and between morality leadership and cross-disciplinary team innovation performance.This article takes the university cross-disciplinary team as the research object.For the first time,the research on paternalistic leadership,interactive memory systems,and cross-disciplinary team innovation performance is conducted under a framework,constructed and validated the model of paternalistic leadership,interactive memory systems,and cross-disciplinary team innovation performance.The research results of this article are not only has theoretical significance but also has practical significance.
