With the deepening of education reform in China,more and more education workers begin to discuss how to promote the personalized development of students.The latest ?high school geography curriculum standards(2017 edition)?closely follows the contemporary education theme,and proposes four core qualities,including comprehensive thinking of geography.As it is mainly reflected in a comprehensive,systematic and dynamic understanding of geographical things,the premise of achieving is that students have a solid knowledge of geography and master the laws and principles of geography.Therefore,the cultivation of comprehensive geographical thinking is a gradual process.This paper mainly discusses how to use mind map to cultivate students comprehensive thinking ability of geography,to visualize the process of comprehensive thinking training,to further enrich the classroom content,and to stimulate students' independent innovation ability.Based on the cultivation of comprehensive thinking ability of geography,the cultivation process of mind mapping is supported by the theory of left and right brain division of labor,constructivism theory,constructivism learning theory and information processing theory.And use literature research,questionnaire,interview method,observation method,questionnaire survey,it is concluded that students geographical comprehensive thinking ability and use mind mapping,and analysis the existing problems,and then introduces the mind map production steps,production standards and principles,teach students proficient in use of mind mapping,is advantageous for the later teaching practice;Secondly,the comprehensive thinking ability of geography is further analyzed,and the thought map is combined to cultivate students' comprehensive thinking ability.Then,it designs teaching design and cases of college entrance examination questions to show the process of cultivating students' comprehensive thinking ability of geography by combining mind map and improve their interest in geography.Finally,the conclusion of this paper is drawn: the mind map can cultivate students' comprehensive thinking ability to a certain extent,and can mobilize students' initiative,making the geography class more interesting.
