An Study On The Influences Of Public Service Supply On Big City Population Migration

With the advancement of urbanization,the population continues to become a significant feature of China's urban development and population migration.City as a social production progress and the carrier of human survival and development,internal population agglomeration and diffusion reflects its comprehensive competitiveness,also relationship between the national economy and people's livelihood,affecting the migration of life and development.Previous academic circles in the research on the influencing factors of population migration,mostly based on economics,points out that the economy,income level and is the fundamental factors that affect migration,but in different stages of development,people choose destination not only consider economic factors,and is becoming more and more pay attention to the public service acquired,so the effect of public service supply of population migration is gradually enhanced.On sample selection,most studies based on the perspective of individual cities or urban and rural areas,the use of census or sampling data,or based on micro individual willingness investigation,research is relatively single or incomplete.This study selected 31 main cities in China in 2005-2015 panel data,the public service type contains the basic education,health care,social security,the environment,from six aspects,such as housing,transportation,by using the principal component analysis,phase lag a dynamic panel regression such as quantitative analysis method,to investigate different types from the perspective of macro level,the urban public service supply level of the nation and the influence of different regional cities population migration,the following main conclusions:(1)big cities are superior public service supply are the important factors influencing the population immigration,and with the social development and progress,more obvious the influence of public service supply,big city basic education,health care,social security,the public service supply advantages of ingoing has great attraction for the migrant population;(2)public service supply to big cities regional heterogeneity exists,the influence of the population migration influence extent in eastern cities is more prominent,followed in the northeast of central and western region of the weakest,different types of public service supply impact on the regional cities population migration is different;(3)in addition to the public service supply factors,big city economic development level,employment,income level and other traditional economic factors on the impact of population migration is still significant,even higher than the impact of public service supply factors.Based on empirical research,this paper deems the rational treatment of large cities the expansion of population,instead of "city disease" is due to population expansion,inhibit the growth of population,should promote the balance of supply and to supply constantly adapt to the demand,improve the level of effective supply of public services,effective play to the role of the public service supply to big city population migration,the optimization of the floating population management and city management,urban public service capacity in a relatively balanced state.
