"Key Competencies" is a hot topic in the education sector today.Teachers of all disciplines are studying the Key Competencies of the discipline.Chinese is the mother of discipline.Reading education is an important part of Chinese education and an important way to improve the Key Competencies of Chinese.The students in the upper grades of elementary school are in the last semester of elementary school,and there are certain developments in the mind and body of the students.This paper aims to find a point of convergence between the "Chinese Key Competencies" and the reading teaching in the upper primary school,and how to improve the students' Key Competencies from the perspective of reading teaching at this stage.This thesis mainly studies the status quo of reading teaching in the upper grades of elementary school through the methods of literature,investigation and research,exchange interview,classroom observation and case analysis.The first chapter of the thesis is mainly to explain the related content of the Chinese Key Competencies and upper primary school reading teaching,and to clarify the concept;The second chapter investigates and interviews the current situation of the reading teaching in the upper primary school from the aspects of students and teachers,and analyzes the existing reading teaching.The third chapter is based on the analysis of the problem,and puts forward appropriate teaching suggestions for the reading teaching of the upper grades of the primary school;the last part is to further supplement the strategy by analyzing the three teaching cases.This thesis puts the research of Key Competencies into the specific syllabus,taking the articles in the Chinese teaching textbook as anexample,aiming at causing the educators to attach importance to the reading teaching of the upper grades of elementary school based on the Key Competencies of the language,and promote the teaching of Chinese reading.The development and improvement of students' Key Competencies.
