The contents of Anti-Japanese War is an important part of China's modern history,it is also an important part of history education in middle schools.The contents of the Anti-Japanese War had already appeared in the history textbooks of middle school during the period of the republic of China.At the same time,it had gone through a changing process.This article studies the contents of the Anti-Japanese War in the middle school history textbooks from 1931 to 1949 as research object,it makes a comparative study of the domestic history textbooks compiled by different textbook writers at different stages of the Anti-Japanese War and discuss the compilation structure and contents of history textbooks in different stages,to analyze the writing changes.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part mainly discusses the background of compiling the content of the Anti-Japanese War in textbooks,and analyzes the background of compiling the contents from three aspects:the influence of China's modern national thought,the education policy and curriculum standards of the national government,and the development of textbook compilation.The second part discusses the compilation structure of the Anti-Japanese War in the history textbooks of the Republic of China,and mainly analyzes the chapter Settings and auxiliary contents in the compilation structure.The third part elaborates the specific problems in the history of the Anti-Japanese War from the overall perspective,which analyzesthe different stages of Anti-Japanese War.The last part is the analysis and evaluation of the history textbooks of the republic of China on the writing of the Anti-Japanese War,and summarizes the characteristics,shortcomings and enlightenment of the writing.During period of the Republic of China,the contents of Anti-Japanese War in middle school history textbooks was deeply influenced by the special environment.The changes in its writing not only show the development and changes of history textbooks during the Republic of China,but also reflect the relationship between history education and patriotism,history education and the needs of the Times,and history education and politics during the Republic of China.
