In January 2017,the Second Department of Basic Education of the Ministry of Education issued document No.1 "Letter on Fully Implementing the Concept of " Fourteen Years of Resistance " in the Local Curriculum Textbooks of Primary and Secondary Schools",requesting that the concept of "Fourteen Years of Resistance" be fully implemented in the textbooks of primary and secondary schools,but the words "Eight Years of Resistance" should be changed to "Fourteen Years of Resistance".In the autumn semester of 2017,middle schools began to use the new textbooks compiled by the Ministry.New changes have taken place in the compilation of the relevant content of the new textbooks about the War of Resistance Against Japan.This change is mainly analyzed in three parts.The first part is the increase of the content of the Anti-Japanese War.From the catalogue,it can be seen that the number of sub-items of each class hour has increased from three to five.The second part is the detailed changes of textbooks.In order to carry out the spirit of the "Fourteen Years' War of Resistance",the textbooks have changed the narrative of the "September 18 th Incident" and "July 7th Incident".This paper makes a detailed comparison of the common knowledge contents in the new and old textbooks,and demonstrates their changes in language style,length and so on.The third part is about the change of textbook arrangement structure.From the text part of the textbook to each auxiliary part of the textbook,there are more or less changes,such as the addition of "relevant historical events","character scanning" and other auxiliary parts,"after-school activities" part is still retained,but more novel,intuitive and so on.The fourth part is about the historical and practical significance of this adjustment.From the changes,we can see that the compilation of textbooks pays more attention to the cultivation of students' comprehensive qualities and the core qualities required by history disciplines.At the same time,the textbook is a tool for teenagers to carry out general education,and it is also a manifestation of the national will.Continuous development and improvement,adhere to student development as the core,more suitable for students' physical and mental development law,and keep pace with the times is a good textbook.
