It has been nearly ten years since the full-time Master of engineering degree graduates were trained in China,and the scale of their graduates continues to grow.The employment and career development of full-time Master of engineering has become the focus of attention of training units.Career maturity refers to the degree of preparation for individual career decision-making based on certain career cognition,emotion and ability.It is an important index for evaluating individual career development.How to improve the career maturity of full-time Master of engineering and promote its development has become a problem that can't be ignored in the education of master of engineering.On the basis of reference to the existing research on career maturity at home and abroad,this study summarizes the significance of College Students' career maturity development,that is,enhancing their professional self-confidence,promoting their professional autonomy and improving their employment quality.The general characteristics of College Students' career maturity development mainly include diversification of career goals,diversification of career values and career reference.Focusing;the influencing factors of College Students' career maturity development,namely personal factors,family factors,school factors and social factors.At the same time,this study adopts the revised Questionnaire on the Current Situation of Professional Maturity of Full-time Master of Engineering,taking Dalian University of Technology as an example,this study conducted a survey on the status quo of full-time engineering master's career maturity,and analyzed the status quo and differences of full-time engineering master's career maturity.The research shows that the overall level of career maturity of full-time Master of engineering is not high,and it is in the middle level.There are significant gender and grade differences in the career maturity of full-time Master of engineering.There is no significant difference in career maturity between urban and rural full-time engineering masters.The scores of career self-confidence and career autonomy of students with part-time experience were significantly higher than those of students without part-time experience.Students who have participated in professional practice have significantly higher scores in three dimensions: career goal,career autonomy,career reference and career maturity than other students.At the same time,it is found that there are several problems in the development of full-time engineering master's career maturity: the overall level of full-time engineering master's career maturity is not high;full-time engineering master has not yet formed a clear career value orientation;full-time engineering master's career self-confidence is obviously insufficient;full-time engineering master's career maturity has significant gender differences;school's development of students' career maturity.The guidance of the exhibition is not in place.Combining the results of theoretical research and empirical investigation,in view of the current situation of full-time engineering master's career maturity development,we should give full play to the subjective initiative of full-time engineering master's career pursuit,establish and improve the employment guidance service system of training units,strengthen the professional attributes of full-time engineering master's training,so as to enhance the level of full-time engineering master's career maturity and promote it.His career has developed well.
