With the development of economic globalization and the increasing competition among international talents,studying abroad has become a hot word of the times.As an important part of international talents,the group of foreign students has been attracted increasingly attention from all countries and the whole society.With the increasing popularity of studying abroad,more and more students all over the world are going to study abroad.In particular,since the reform and opening up policy has been applied,the education of foreign students in China has developed vigorously,and the national education level and the quality of personnel training have been significantly enhanced in this wave.With the promulgation of The National Program for Long-term Reform and Development in Education 2010-2020,the process of internationalization of education in China has been accelerated.Since the launch and implementation of the "Study in China Plan" in 2010,China has become one of the major country for foreign students.The education of foreign students in China has made unprecedented progress at this moment.Therefore,the management of foreign students in China has become the focus of research.This research adopts the methods of questionnaire survey,literature analysis and case study to study the educational management of foreign secondary school students from Harbin J School in China.Harbin J Middle School is a strength-based school with more than 20 years' experience in running a school and training foreign students.Its scale of running a school is expanding year by year and its enrollment scope is expanding day by day.The study finds that there are still some problems in the education and management of foreign students in Harbin J Middle School,such as the complicated enrollment target,the improper implementation of management measures,the unclear emphasis of management,the inconsistent management of home-school cooperative the ineffective management of foreign students'.The main reasons for these problems are the inadequate grasp of the particularity of foreign students in China,the lack of awareness of home-school cooperation,the unclear focus of management of foreign students in China,and the weak foundation of system construction.In order to effectively solve the problems in the management of foreign students in J middle school,this study proposes that J middle school should attach great importance to its particularity in the management of foreign students in China,and pay attention to the renewal of management methods.At the same time,we should strengthen the system construction of the management of foreign students in China,which can be added by means of network.Strong family school communication,differentiated management of students from different countries.
