Nowadays,in schools for deaf-mutes,for the deficient of generalization of sports teaching,contents physical training items and redeeming exercise methods,as well as their own physiological defects and weaker sex,it is particularly outstanding of deaf-mute girls' physical and psychological health problems.Therefore,it is an urgent issue to develop fitness exercise resources which accord with deaf-mute students' physical and mental characteristics,and also have the rehabilitation and redeeming function for physical defect.Through the literature review methods,based on physical and mental characteristics of deaf-mute students,this study put forward with the conception of “body functional exercises” and develop fitness exercise methods which have redeeming and rehabilitation functions.By experimentation,psychological scale rating method and mathematics statistics,this study performed an intervening experiment with 32 deaf-mute girls of high school grade 1 for 12 weeks,in which 16 girls in Control group do regular exercise,the other 16 girls in Experiment group take body functional exercise,in order to probe into body functional exercises' effects upon physical fitness and mood of high school girls with surdimutism.The research results are listed as follows:(1)In a deaf-mute school of Wuhan,there isn't enough professional PE teacher,and students don't have enough valid time to take extracurricular activities and lack of alternative project and corresponding guidance;because of hearing disorder and some reasons like that,deaf-mute students are easily to be nervous,depressed and not energetic,which is not facilitated for development of PE and extracurricular activities.(2)Following the directionality of body functional exercises' purpose,the effectiveness of method and suitability principle of weight,combining with deaf-mute students' physical and mental development characteristics and PE specificity,this study optimized selected seven classes and 27 exercise methods with redeeming and rehabilitation functions,as well as formulated a scheme about body functional exercises for 12 weeks.(3)After intervention,there are remarkable score differences between girls in control group with experiment group in terms of sit-up,vital capacity and sit-and-reach,which demonstrates that the effects of body functional exercise precedes to regular extracurricular exercise activities on promoting deaf-mute high school girls' physical fitness.Comparison within experiment group,deaf-mute high school girls' score of sit-up,vital capacity,800 meters and sit-and-reach have improved significantly,which indicates the 12 weeks body functional exercises' has distinctively improved deaf-mute high school girls' physical fitness.(4)Compared with control group,deaf-mute high school girls' 4 indexes in experiment group differs a lot in terms of nerve,rage,depression and energy,and 3 indexes of panic,fatigue and self-esteem improved but not reached a obvious level.The all above indicates that effective application of body functional exercise methods contributes to gain successful emotional experience and has positive effects on forming favorable mood states,which verifies that practical and personalized body functional exercise is good for improving deaf-mute students physical and mental health.This study proposed some suggestions : strengthening the research on physical exercise methods of special education students,prompting them to grasp practical and effective physical exercise methods,to lay a solid foundation for forming a life-long healthy consciousness.
