The children are the future and hope of our country, and their healthy growth is closely related to the rise and fall of our country. Exercise intervention, as an important component of health, ensures the healthy development of children, and also contributes greatly to their mental health. Therefore, it is of vital importance for them to take more exercises and strengthen their bodies, which is beneficial to their health.By means of studying on samples which chosen randomly in Wuhan, I divide them into two teams, which are group of grade3and5in primary school, with both the test group and control group in each team. There are two teams in each group, which are the traditional features schools as the intervention group and the control group, with1200people in total. By means of exercise intervention towards the test control, the students in grade3take martial art and rope jump as the intervention items and in grade5take sports game and fancy rope jumping as the intervention items.This research compares and analyzes the data from the health physique test of the school children who take part in the intervention plan. Selecting from The Criteria of Fitness Test and the2010students’health research plan awarded by the Ministry of Education, I get three kinds of indexes about body shape, body function and physical fitness, consisting of height, weight, cortical thickness(the upper arm, shoulder, abdomen), lung capacity, Harvard step test, grip strengthen, inclined body pull-ups(boy)/one minute sit-ups(girl), standing long jump, seat body ante flexion,50×8shuttle run,, and etc, which influence their health greatly. By taking appropriate measures for the exercise intervention and making a comparison between the data of youth health of the intervention group and control group before and after exercise, it comes to a conclusion that as the sports games and the fancy rope skipping do to the grade five, martial art and rope skipping also do bring prominent promoting function to the body health of the students of grade three, The content method and measure effectively reach the aim to strengthen the health of the school children.According to the results of the study, I have the following suggestions; firstly, more emphasis should be laid to the improving function of the body health of the school children. Secondly, some sports intervention project about school age children’s law of somatopsychic developments should be studied. Thirdly, some suitable districts should be selected to carry out this plan. Fourthly, rise up the professional quality of physical education teachers.
