The revision of Physics Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 edition)further clarifies the orientation of senior high school education and further optimizes the curriculum structure.The most important thing is to condense the core quality of the subject.The ultimate goal of physics teaching is to cultivate students' core quality of physics.The author carefully analyzed the content of the new curriculum standard and consulted the literature widely.It was found that the current domestic electromagnetic teaching research focused more on the textbook content.For the extracurricular extended learning,the study of linking physics with life was less,and the extended learning research appeared more in English,mathematics and other disciplines.Therefore,the author combines his own teaching practice,and carries out a special study of physics and electromagnetics extended learning in Senior High School under the core discipline literacy.Based on Spencer's theory of preparing for life in education,Zankov's theory of developmental teaching,Bruner's discovery learning method and Engelstom's theory of expanding learning,this study summarizes and refines four principles of expanding learning:scientific,interesting,easy and moderate,and ensuring safety.By using the methods of literature research,action research,observation and investigation,this paper puts forward the general process of high school physics and electromagnetics expanding learning,that is,assigning afterclass tasks and students' independent exploration;analyzing students' situation and grouping preparatory activities;introducing activities and students' general understanding;explaining matters needing attention,emphasizing experimental safety;students carrying out experiments and implementing classroom view.Survey,interview,questionnaire survey and analysis of the results of the activities.According to the generalprocess,we designed a series of high school physics and electromagnetics outward bound learning activities such as "self-made electroscope","selfmade Tesla coil","self-made motor" and carried out teaching practice.In this study,the content design of outward bound learning activities is closely related to the core quality of high school physics and students' life.The purpose is to improve students' interest in learning physics,improve classroom efficiency,make students really like physics,form physical concepts,scientific thinking,positive scientific attitude and sense of responsibility,and improve the ability of scientific inquiry.It is also hoped that students' physical knowledge acquired in school can be helpful to their future life.Then through classroom observation,individual interviews,questionnaires and other means of summary and evaluation,analysis and summary of the research results.The results show that good extended learning is not only conducive to the cultivation of students' interest in learning,making students better master physical knowledge and improve physical performance,but also better to help students form the core quality of physics.
