In recent years,how to improve students' interest in chemistry learning and humanistic literacy has attracted much attention.In line with the requirements of "Full-time Compulsory Education Chemistry Curriculum Standards(2011 edition)",chemistry teachers have constantly realized the necessity of strengthening humanistic background education in chemistry teaching.A large number of documents show that STS education and HPS education concepts are in line with the cognitive order of students,and can promote the improvement of students' interest in learning and the optimization of learning methods.However,the current domestic research mainly focuses on the theoretical value,practical effectiveness and teaching case development of HPS teaching mode or STS teaching mode.There are not many studies on the advantages,disadvantages and integration of HPS teaching mode and STS teaching mode.Therefore,based on the above problems,a chemistry teaching mode integrating HPS education and STS education is constructed,and the research is carried out in combination with the relevant contents of junior middle school chemistry.On the basis of consulting and analyzing the literature on the current situation of HPS and STS teaching modes,a questionnaire was designed for junior three teachers and students on the application of HPS and STS education in chemistry classroom.The survey results show that most teachers agree that consciously teaching chemical historical materials,social phenomena and the frontier development of science has a positive effect on chemistry.Students are interested in teaching chemical historical materials,social phenomena and the frontier development of science.They hope to introduce relevant contents when learning more abstract and difficult to understand knowledge.Some problems are found: some middle school teachers are not familiar with HPS and STS teaching mode;because of the heavy teaching task,most teachers have difficulties in collecting materials,and there are still doubts about how to combine the collected materials with knowledge points;the materials provided in textbooks are relatively limited,and there is a lack of new and hot-debated cases related to chemistry in real life.In order to solve the above problems,under the guidance of constructivism learning theory and meaning learning theory,a chemistry teaching model integrating HPS and STS is preliminarily constructed;the connotation and significance of integrating HPS and STS teaching model are discussed;the structure of the model is defined,that is,creating situations,raising questions,drawing ideas,developing exchanges,learning history,extracting refinements,designing experiments,exploring and presenting boldly.Concepts,practice testing and summary evaluation,looking forward to the future;analyzing the characteristics of this teaching mode,such as scientific learning method,life-oriented teaching situation,cutting-edge learning vision and vivid classroom teaching;putting forward the teaching strategies of this teaching mode: establishing material resource bank,expanding the breadth of knowledge,utilizing the history of chemical development,understanding the development of knowledge and paying attention to the reality of life;Intensify the transfer of knowledge,combine the frontier science and technology,and understand the dynamics of knowledge.Based on the above theory,two parallel classes of junior three in Wuhu No.27 Middle School were selected as the research objects,and the teaching practice research for nearly one semester was carried out.During the research period,data were collected through questionnaires,classroom observations,unified examinations,interviews and other means to test the practical effect of the teaching model constructed by this study.The results show that the constructed teaching model can improve students' interest in learning chemistry,promote the change of students' learning methods,and make students understand the value of chemistry more scientifically.Because of the limited research time and my practical experience and ability,the teaching mode of integrating HPS and STS needs to be improved in the future teaching practice.practice.
