The essential task in the reform of basic education is to push forward the quality eduction comprehensively in our country . The main issue that the chemistry teaching meets in the middle school in the era is how to change the conventional theaching ideology that regards the exam-oriented education as the sole purpose and how to promote the students' comprehensive qualities as well as the teuching effects . This paper analyzes the relity,necessity and possibility of integrating the mental health education and chemistry teaching in middle schools. It points out the idea that the idea that the integration of mental health education and chemistry teaching should be carried out in every teach link,such as the the teaching in class, the extracurricular activities and the teaching evaluation and chemistry teaching in class is the main field in the whole integrating education . At the same time,this paper describes the basic teaching steps by means of integration mode . First,to arouse the smdents'thinking by circumstances and lead them to probe and communicate;Second,to sum up reasonably and have a cincrete application; At last, to get the reflection and make the evaluation; According to the conclusion resulting from the teaching test,carried out in some students of the first grade in NO.2 Middle School in Jiangxi,Xinjian,the paper also offers some suggestions .
