With the development of the new era,in the current trend of Chinese quality education,the requirements for the cultivation of students' thinking ability are higher and higher.Therefore,in daily Chinese teaching activities,teachers should actively cultivate students' thinking,develop their thinking ability and improve their thinking quality.As the saying goes,"well begun is half done." Elementary school in the first period is the students' thinking ability rapid development stage,a good quality of Chinese teaching and language teaching material is a very important resource and the carrier,and the teaching material of middle and high frequency of illustration is key to language teaching material organic component,especially for the first period of the students understand the text,observation,imagination,aesthetic ability and creative thinking quality education have the function of the guide or dot eyeball.Thus based on the Angle of Chinese textbook illustrations,respectively from the number of illustrations,the types of location,style,fit,function and content from several aspects,for compiling the Chinese textbooks for primary school in the first period of illustrations to think,analysis and research,and investigated respectively in the administrative areas,the township and town,the city a few primary school in the first period of the language teacher illustrations use present situation,finally put forward in the first period Chinese textbook illustrations design further optimization and the use of advice,aims to help today's primary school in the first period Chinese teaching illustration to get more attention,constantly improve,make the languageteacher love with textbook illustrations,gradually improve classroom teaching efficiency,Really let the student like the Chinese textbook illustration,enjoys the illustration reading to stimulate the mental development the joy,simultaneously also can lay the foundation for their life development.This paper is divided into five parts:Part one: introduction.This part mainly discusses the reason of this topic,research purpose,literature review and research methods.The second part: introduce the first period of Chinese teaching material and its illustrations.The third part: the textbook illustration distribution,the content and the function carry on the research,through adduces the concrete example to carry on the detailed explanation,analyzes its intrinsic characteristic.The fourth part: combined with my region,using the questionnaire survey method to investigate the current situation of the use of illustrations in primary school Chinese teaching materials,found the problems and deficiencies in the use of illustrations in the first learning period of primary school Chinese teaching materials,and caused thinking.The fifth part: in conclusion,after the analysis of the problems existing in the textbook illustrations of the pilot found themselves,and through the questionnaire survey found after using issues about the textbook illustrations,respectively for textbook compiling,teaching material illustrations designer and the language teacher some Suggestions,in order to primary school language teaching material illustrations in enlighten students thinking development,improve children language expression ability,improve the classroom teaching efficiency is a little help.
