With the rapid development of science and the widespread popularization of image communication technology,the cultural center has gradually been led by various visual symbols.In this situation,people will unconsciously receive various visual symbols every day,and this series of visual symbols constantly flood the peoples’ eyes and enter into the daily life without a single thought,gradually forming a unique visual cultural weathervane that leads the development of The Times.Illustration is also a special kind of visual symbol,its unique characteristics,in the form of style characteristics,audience and which contain rich information gradually to the attention of the researchers.Therefore,this paper selects five sets of primary school Chinese textbooks that are more distinctive in China,based on the theory of visual culture,and draws on the relevant research methods of visual culture,and then analyzes and studies the visual effects and the visual power of the illustrations in the context of relevant statistical methods.This is a study of the following sections:The first part:based on the theoretical basis of visual culture,the framework of the textbook illustration,includes the visual effects and the visual power of the textbook illustrations displayed;The second part: on the basis of the definition,the distribution and proportion of the illustrations of 5 sets of Chinese textbooks are presented,which can reveal the number of illustrations.The third part of the study is to analyze the visual effects of illustrations in five elementary school language textbooks,including the visual elements of the illustration,the form of the presentation,and the performance of the technique;The fourth part: on the interdisciplinary nature of the visual culture,the research methods of semiotics,marxism and feminism are drawn from the research methods of semiology,marxism and feminism,and the cultural meanings of the 5 sets of textbook illustrations in primary school are compared with those of present life scenes,body image and gender culture;The last part: it reflects the comparison and analysis results of five sets of textbook illustrations in primary schools.
