With the popularization and development of education,the illustrations began to appear in the Chinese textbooks,and gradually become an important curriculum resources.However,although more and more people are aware that the illustrations play an important part in the Chinese teaching and there are more and more people to study textbook illustrations,we still regret to see that Chinese teaching in junior high school,illustrations didn't get much attention they deserve and failed to play the role of a good auxiliary teaching.Many teachers and students often ignore the existence of the illustrations and meaning.Junior high school students are in the period of youth,their voluntary attention is gradually dominant and visual sensitivity has been improved.Their abstract logical thinking ability obtains the very big development as well.Although the junior middle school students' abstract logical thinking began to predominate in their minds,and this kind of thinking ability is still in the very great degree experience and cannot leave the specific image.The illustrations could provide them with the image of "concrete,support and let them gain the most direct help learning and understanding the text.That is the convenienct resources they can get when they open the book.What's more,modern society has gradually entered a map reading age,the influence of visual impact influences on people is becoming bigger and bigger.Therefore,in our daily teaching,if we can properly and correcttly use illustrations,it can help students understand the text content better.It can not only improve their perceptual cognition,but also help deepen the rational understanding them.With the illustration of this visual impact,It can also improve and strengthen students' memory effect of the text.This article in the introduction part mainly discusses in the junior middle school language teaching material research significance of illustration.It will stated in two aspects.One is maoly from the development from the language teaching material illustrations to the age of map reading.The ather aspect is about the relation between the language teaching material illustrations and psychological characteristics of the junior middle school students.The first part analyzes the two main reasons why the use of textbook illustrations is neglected according to the illustration of the status quo of the use of illustrations.The second part mainly analyzes that the junior middle school language teaching material illustrations have unique advantages,and how to use illustrations to auxiliary teaching in junior middle school language classroom teaching so as to achieve good teaching effect.The third part has combed two major problems of language teaching material illustrations in detail illustrations and the corresponding solution strategy.The appendix part is the specific operation method using an example for junior middle school Chinese teaching.
