The study of exercise motivation helps students to exercise and participate in physical education.It is an internal and rational cause,which is generated under environmental incentives and directly affects students' participation in sports.Football is the world's largest sport,and football is unique in its fierce confrontation with the fun of fighting,the variability of various complex situations,mutual support,clever teamwork,and superb performances.The sporty charm and its ability to enhance the vitality of life,meet the needs of emotional and individual perfection,promote the healthy development of body and mind,attract more and more college students to participate in football.This paper uses literature method,mathematical statistics method,logic analysis method,expert interview method,questionnaire survey method and other methods to use the Sports Motivation Scale(SMS)to better understand the motivation of college students participating in football in Guiyang,and improve the students of Guiyang City.Participation in the level of motivation for football has attracted more college students from Guiyang to participate in football.Research indicates:1.The internal motivation of college students participating in football in Guiyang is greater than the external motivation.The intensity of the motivation of college students participating in football in Guiyang is from stimulating experience to > quest for knowledge > internalization > achievement > identity > external adjustment > no motivation.2.Boys' participation in football is more motivated than women,and there are significant differences in the motivations of boys and girls in terms of achievement,internalization,identity,external adjustment and non-motivation.3.The motivation level of college students participating in football in urban students in Guiyang is higher than that in rural students.There are significant differences in the six motivational dimensions of college students in different places of origin in terms of seeking knowledge,achievement,stimulating experience,internalization,identification and external adjustment.4.The motivation level of single-child college students participating in football is higher than that of non-only-child students.There are significant differences in the motivational dimensions of external exercise,external adjustment,internalization,identification,and non-motivation in Guiyang City.5.The motivation level of college students participating in football is higher than that of non-sports majors.There are significant differences in the dimensions of the six participating motivations among the students of different majors in Guiyang City in terms of seeking knowledge,achievement,stimulating experience,external adjustment,internalization and recognition.6.There is no difference in the motivation of college students in different grades in Guiyang.7.There is no significant difference in the motivation of participating in football in colleges and universities in Guiyang.8.The motivation of college students in football team is higher than that of non-soccer team.The students of Guiyang football team and non-football team are seeking,knowing,stimulating experience,external adjustment,internalization and identification.There is a significant difference in it.9.The degree of motivation of college students who have had a football experience before entering the school in Guiyang is stronger than that of college students who have not had a football experience before entering the school.There are significant differences in the dimensions of motivation,experience,achievement,external adjustment,knowledge,and internalization of college students with different football experiences.
