KWL(Know-Want-Learned)model is a kind of teaching strategy based on the questions raised by students.In recent years,researchers at home and abroad pay more and more attention to it.At home and abroad,it is mainly focused on Chinese,English,mathematics and other subjects.Practical research finds that the implementation of KWL model is very effective,but there are only a few studies on the application of KWL model in biology teaching in senior high school.As far as the teaching practice is concerned,most of them focus on teachers' questioning,but less on students' active questioning.Therefore,this study takes this as the starting point,in the high The KWL model is applied in the teaching of biology in middle school to cultivate the students' ability to ask questions.This can not only promote the improvement and development of its related theories,but also provide practical reference for front-line teachers to cultivate students' ability to ask questions and to study the application of KWL model.This research adopts questionnaire survey,practice research,case follow-up and interview method,takes Guiyang No.2 Middle School as the experimental point,selects the students of two parallel classes in the first grade of senior high school as the research object,and through the teaching practice,In order to explore the influence of KWL model on students' questioning ability.The main findings are as follows:(1)In the early stage of the experiment,according to the entrance scores of the students in the first grade of the second middle school in Guiyang,the students in the two parallel classes with similar learning results were selected to investigate the present situation of the students' ability to ask questions in order to find out the present situation of the students' questioning ability.The results show that the present situation of students' ability to ask questions is not ideal,and the total score is generally low.This requires that we should give appropriate attention to the following teaching.(2)According to the present situation of the students' questioning ability and the requirements of the new curriculum,the teaching design under the KWL model is optimized and the practical research is carried out.During the experiment,KWL model was applied in the experimental class and routine teaching was carried out in the control class.In the later stage of the experiment,through the analysis of the questionnaire scores and biological achievements of the students' questioning ability,it is concluded that the application of the KWL model to biology teaching in senior high schools can improve the students' ability to ask questions.To strengthen the students' mastery of knowledge and other aspects has a positive role in promoting.(3)Ten students in different levels of questioning ability in the experimental class were tracked by the method of case tracking in order to understand the level of questioning in different stages of implementation.The results show that with the deepening of the KWL model,the level of questions raised by the students in the experimental class is improved accordingly.(4)In order to understand the classroom effect and shortcomings in the process of implementing KWL model,an interview was conducted between teachers and students: under the KWL model,students' participation in the classroom is very high,and there is a positive change in the way of learning.And for the improvement of teachers' professional literacy also has a certain effect.Finally,some suggestions are put forward on the problems existing in the process of this study,and the prospect of the research on KWL model in biology teaching is also given.
