Incorporating career education into high school biology teaching is simply to integrate the information about careers,career choices and planning methods and paths into biological teaching,to help students understand biologically related occupations,and according to their own situation.Determine whether these occupations are the new way of education for their career decision-making.In recent years,under the continuous advocacy and support of the national education policy,the career education of middle school students has gradually received attention.However,most researchers only use career education as an independent course to conduct research and practice teaching.Although this method has achieved certain results,due to the tight time,heavy work,lack of teachers,and so on,there are certain difficulties in the process of implementation.In view of the current educational situation in China,it is necessary to implement vocational education from all aspects of school education,and school education takes subject curriculum as the main battlefield.Therefore,integrating career education into subject teaching has become a research boom.Biology is a discipline closely related to social life.Among the more than 1900 occupations in the National Professional Code,there are more than 300 occupations related to biology,accounting for more than one-sixth of the total.In summary,the integration of career education in biology teaching has certain necessity and feasibility.Through the analysis and excavation of the content of the compulsory textbooks for the high school students in the high school,it is known that in the humanities version of the high school biology textbooks,in addition to the occupations explicitly mentioned in the textbooks,there are another 23 from agriculture,forestry,medicine,and pharmacy.Bio-related occupations in food processing,winemaking,education,etc.,and these occupations can serve as a vehicle for incorporating career education into high school biology teaching.At the same time,according to the theory of career development stage,the career of high school students can be subdivided into three stages,namely career cognition,career decision and career planning.According to the development tasks of each stage and the characteristics of high school biology teaching,the author puts forward the staged strategy of incorporating career education into high school biology teaching,and applies this strategy to teaching practice to test its effectiveness.The subjects of practical research are some students in the third grade of Guiyang No.1 Middle School.The author randomly selected four classes from the parallel classes to conduct experiments.Two classes were used as the experimental group,and two classes were used as the control group.In the experimental group,the teaching practice of integrating career education into high school biology teaching was carried out,and the control class was routine.The teaching lasted one semester.The experiment uses occupational maturity as a scale to investigate the occupational maturity of students before and after teaching,in order to test the impact of the integration of career education on the professional maturity of students in high school biology teaching.The data measured before and after the experiment were collated and statistically analyzed,and SPSS21.0 was used as an independent sample t test.The results showed that there was no significant difference in the occupational maturity between the pre-test and the experimental classes,and the occupational maturity of the control and experimental classes after the experiment.There was a significant difference in degrees.At the same time,from the maturity of the pre-and post-test classes in the same group,there was no significant difference in occupational maturity before and after the class in the control group,but there were significant differences before and after the experiment in the experimental group,and the occupational maturity level of the students after the experiment was significantly higher than that.Before the experiment.The research results show that the integration of career education into the teaching of high school biology can effectively improve the professional maturity of students.Through the analysis of the results of practical research,it is suggested to strengthen the intensity of career education from all levels.At the same time,teachers should make rational use of multi-party resources,pay attention to the development of students' interest,and appropriately introduce professional information of colleges and universities in teaching,especially in the third year of high school.
