With the rapid development of society,the explicit social division of labor has provided people with a wide range of career opportunities,and career education is gradually paid attention by educators for the sake of social development and the needs of China's education reform.Adolescents are at the critical stage of career education,and they are always confused and ignore about their future.Career education in time can help young people understand themselves,realize the close relationship between scientific knowledge and social life,cultivate their career awareness and career aspirations,and encourage them make plan in early.However,as career education started late in China,career education in secondary school is difficult to implement,especially under the circumstance of the pressure of college entrance examination and the shortage of teachers.Therefore,this study takes the junior middle school students'career education as the subject,to explore the effective way to carry out career education in junior middle school biology teaching by using the unique advantages of biology,hoping that career education in junior middle school can be implemented through practical research.Taking advantage of the opportunity of educational practice,I made some researches about career education in junior middle school biology teaching.Firstly,four biology teachers in the junior middle school where I work were interviewed.At the same time,questionnaire and essay activities were made among some students to understand the situation of career education in the school and students' awareness of self-planning,as well as the attitudes of teachers and students towards career education in junior middle school biology.To the second,the coherence point of career education and junior middle school biology teaching was found by studying relevant references to construct the teaching mode of career education in middle school biology.And the mode is "content screening-formulating principle-teaching design-teaching implementation-evaluation"."Content screening" is to find junior middle school biology teaching content which is suitable for career education on the basis of biology teaching materials and curriculum standards."The formulating principle" is to make some rules about how to impart the knowledge about career education to the students based on the concept of biology teaching and career education "Teaching design" is to design the classroom teaching and work out the teaching case by combining the pre-survey results and career education materials."Teaching implementation" is teaching practice by taking,the two forms of biology classroom teaching and lectures."Multi-faceted evaluation" is to make the post-test for students after the teaching practice.By comparing the results before and after the test,research results and conclusion can be got by evaluating the effect from three aspects which are "student's self-planning awareness","students' interest in learning biological" and "student biological achievement" respectively.The results showed that career education in junior middle school biology can improve students' awareness of self-planning significantly,students' interest in learning biology and students' biological achievement.It was found that teachers and students support the study completely during the period of interviewing them.Finally,by analyzing comprehensively the results of the study,it was concluded that:it is necessary to make career education in junior middle school classroom activities,which can encourage students to make life planning early and help them understand the close relationship between knowledge and social life,improve students' interest in learning.What's more,classroom teaching combined with lectures can bring school career education to reality.This study is an educational practice exploration based on the combination of biology teaching and career education in junior middle school.Although because of the restrict of time and resource,there are still some shortcomings,the research has a significant effect on cultivating students 'self-planning consciousness and improving students' interest in learning.It can provide some reference value for biology teachers and other subject teachers to carry out career education in the classroom.
