Social comparison is a common phenomenon in social life and is also common in school.Inappropriate social comparisons can reduce students' academic self-efficacy to a certain extent.The physical and mental development of primary school students is still immature,they spend most of the time in school,the comparison in school and family will put some pressure on students.Primary school students at this stage cannot take the right approach in the face of these pressures,and these pressures will have a certain impact on the students' psychology.What is the relationship of primary students' social comparison,academic self-efficacy and academic stress ? This study takes 368 students from the third to sixth grades of a rural primary school in Cangzhou City as the research object,with Liang Yusong,Zhou Zongkui's Academic Self-efficacy Questionnaire,Lu Jing's adaptation of Pupils' Learning Stress Questionnaire,using correlation analysis,regression analysis and other analytical methods to study the relationship among social comparison,academic self-efficacy and academic stress,and the conclusions as follow:(1)The differences between grades and whether they are class cadres of the overall social comparison of rural primary school students are obvious.The differences in gender,and ranking are not significant.Specific to each dimension : positive latitude grade difference is obvious,negative down and reaction calm dimensions are significant differences in whether or not they are class cadres.(2)The demographic differences in overall academic self-efficacy among rural primary school students are different: there is no significant difference in ranking and whether they are class cadres;but the differences in gender and grade are significant.Specific to each dimension,the gender and grade of the academic ability self-efficacy are significantly different,while the academic behavioral efficacy is only significantly different in grade.(3)The differences between grades and whether they are class cadres of the overall academic stress of rural primary school students are obvious.The differences between grades and whether they are class cadres of each dimension are obvious.Academic stress levels increase as grades increase.The pressure of non-class cadres is higher than that of class cadres in all dimensions.(4)The social comparison of rural pupils significantly predicts their academic self-efficacy and academic stress;academic self-efficacy as an independent variable can positively predict academic stress,but when academic self-efficacy and social comparison are jointly used as variables to predict academic stress,academic self-efficacy can negatively predict academic stress.And academic self-efficacy plays a mediating role between social comparison and academic stress.Social comparison influences academic pressure through academic self-efficacy.
