Study On Food Supervision And Countermeasures Of School Lunch In Xi'An

Food safety issues have existed for many years.These food safety problems have affected the health of people and had a greater impact on the society.Among these food safety issues,the food safety supervision of elementary school students should be paid more attention.In this study,the lunch safety supervision of elementary school students in Xi'an was taken as the starting point,interviews and empirical analysis methods were used for the investigating and analyzing of the food safety supervision of small food stalls.Based on this,some pertinent suggestions and countermeasures were put forward for ensuring the safety of students and promoting the health of students in China.This study mainly obtained the following results:(1)Current situation: Firstly,Chinese diet culture is extensive and profound,and there are great varieties of flavor snack.Due to the storing of raw materials and finished products in the open air,unknown origin and ingredients,low cost,et al,the regulation of food safety is powerless and the food safety cannot be guaranteed.Secondly,many parents are very busy and they have no time for taking care of children.Many schools have no dining room and the small food stalls provide convenience for them.These school food stalls are multifarious with attractive appearance and taste.The main types of food are deep-fried,barbecued and or cold foods,which are simple,fast,and easy to bring and has serious food safety problems.Thirdly,national regulators are mainly focused on enterprises and the regulation of school food stalls is inadequate.(2)Problems: The current procedures for handling business licenses and related certifications are cumbersome.Many food stalls do not meet the conditions of registration,the unlicensed operation is common,and there is a big security danger.Although our countryhave promulgated many related legal laws and regulations,the illegal operation cost is very low,the punishment is not enough tough and there is no detailed regulation.In addition,the food safety regulation is conducted by different departments and there has no unified coordination mechanism and system.There are still some problems should be concerned in food supervision.(3)Countermeasures: Firstly,the relevant laws and regulations should be established,each region may formulate relevant regulations on the management according to the characteristics of the region and specify the responsibility.Secondly,the government should give more regulatory conditions and financial support,especially for improvement the supervision capacity of grassroots supervision and forming a regulatory approach with the combining of standards and rapid detection.Thirdly,it is necessary to form a pattern with promotes education and public participation for governance of small food stalls.At the same time,the media should also follow up and report such issues and form a situation in which the general public can grasp and co-manage.In this way,the problem of food safety supervision of small food stalls can be properly solved and create a safe dining environment for elementary school students.
