Research On Government Support In The Development Of Higher Vocational Education In Guangdong

Under the new normal background,China's economic development has entered the stage of transformation and upgrading.At this stage,the demand for high-quality labor force is more and more obvious.As an important way of training high-quality labor force,the importance of higher vocational education is increasingly prominent.However,influenced by historical factors and government policy factors,the historical "debt" in the development of Higher Vocational Education in China is relatively large,such as insufficient investment in infrastructure,relatively weak teachers,insufficient government financial support and so on.Therefore,under the background of the new era,it is particularly important to strengthen government support for Higher Vocational education.Based on the theory of public goods and cost-sharing,this paper explores the problems of government support in the development of Higher Vocational Education in Guangdong Province by means of literature analysis,case analysis and comparative analysis.It is found that there are some problems in the development of Higher Vocational Education in Guangdong Province,such as lack of timely and effective support policies and lack of financial allocation.The regional development of foot and high-level vocational colleges is not coordinated,and the support and guarantee of school-enterprise cooperation is not in-depth.The reasons for the above problems are: lagging behind in the formulation and implementation of support policies,inactive fiscal policies and financing system,lack of attention and support in Vocational Colleges and private vocational colleges in underdeveloped areas,absence of school-enterprise cooperation guarantee policy and imperfect mechanism.Finally,the paper puts forward the countermeasures to play the role of government support: strengthening the forward-looking policy formulation and implementation,improving the financial allocation system and financial support system,promoting the development of first-class higher vocational colleges,and strengthening the top-level design and platform construction of school-enterprise cooperation.The guarantee measures of the government's supporting role mainly include system guarantee,organization guarantee and fund guarantee.
