This study takes the mentally disabled persons served by Nanjing Community's original art studios as the research object,and supports the theory of social work professional advantage,social fusion theory,and social support network theory.Through participatory observations and interviews in the Nanjing Community's original art studio,it was found that people with mental disorders are caughtwith high incidence,communication barriers,exclusion of approval,and social policy limitations in the community.At the same time,they have diverse needs in community integration.From the perspective of people with mental disorders,guardians of people with mental disorders,and local art studio workers in the Nanjing community,this research explore the multi-level and diversity of people with mental disorders in community integration.As a method of helping people in social work,the native art is based on targeted and professional services for people with mental disorders.It focuses on the stimulation of potential from the perspective of superiority,the integration of resources,and the three modes of action of the physiological-psychological-social medical model,and to explore its mechanism for the integration of people with mental disorders,its impact is mainly reflected in the positive impact on individuals with mental disorders(cognition and behavior),family systems,and community systems.As a means of integrating people with mental disorders into the community,native art has played an active and constructive role in the integration of people with mental disorders.Therefore,the original art as a means for the integration of people with mental disorders has the significance of continuing exploration and promotion.
