With the advancement of globalization,how to implement indigenous education in countries with cultural diversity has become a global concern.As a country of immigration,Canadian diversity has caused conflicts in the education of Aboriginal people,but multiculturalism also provides conditions for aboriginal people to fight for their own rights.This paper takes Canadian aboriginal people as the research object,and adopts the methods of literature research,case study and historical research.Through investigating the implements of Canada aboriginal people's education under the framework of multicultural policy,it has great significance to understand how to implement aboriginal people's education in countries with cultural diversity.In terms of research content and framework,this study is divided into six chapters.The first chapter introduces the origin of research,research content,current research status and the framework of the research.The multicultural education of Banks is the theoretical basis of this research.Then,in the second chapter,this study describes the traceability of Canadian multicultural society and combs the changing trends of aboriginal education in a multicultural society.From the third chapter to the fifth chapter is the main part of the research.The main part will reflect on the policy content of aboriginal people and the implementation,the results of aboriginal education in Canada.Specifically: the third chapter introduces the Canadian aboriginal education policy.Policy content includes aboriginal education in Canadian law,aboriginal policies from the perspective of federal multicultural education,and aboriginal policies in the provinces.From the perspective of the characteristics of the policy,the core of the aboriginal education policy has changed from promoting "identity" to "national identity".Aboriginal education policy attaches importance to the coordinated development of the management and ability cultivation of aboriginal education autonomy.The fourth chapter uses Banks' multicultural education as a theory to analyze the aboriginal education in British Columbia Province.The province attaches great importance to integrating the traditional knowledge of indigenous people in the kindergarten to high school stage,and establishes a teachers' support network to enhance the concept of equal teaching.Then the province selects authentic aboriginal historical knowledge to eliminate discrimination and develops a teacher guide to help students complete the construction of knowledge.The school culture is designed to create a campus atmosphere that meets the needs of the aborigines.At the same time,the implementation of post-secondary education programs in British Columbia guarantees the opportunity for aboriginal people to receive higher education,and the government provides financial support for education implementation.The fifth chapter studies the effects of the implementation of Canadian aboriginal education.Aboriginal education management rights have been recognized,and the employment rate of aboriginal people has also improved,but there is still a large gap between aboriginal and nonaboriginal education,which has led to thinking about Canadian aboriginal education.The experience of education has explored the education of ethnic minorities in China.Finally,in sixth Chapter,based on the study of Canadian aboriginal education,this study puts forward some thoughts.There is a mutual influence between Canadian multicultural policy and aboriginal policy.The paper also points out the practical implications of aboriginal education and provides a prospect for future research.
