Numerous studies have shown that early childhood peer conflicts have an important impact on the social development of young children.The emotional experience of children in peer conflicts and whether peer conflicts can be effectively resolved will further affect the peer relationship and even the teacher-child relationship.This study takes the perspective of children and teachers.It mainly uses observation methods and video interviews to explore senior group children's understanding of the causes of peer conflicts,their emotional feelings and coping strategies in peer conflicts,and the best coping strategies for peer conflicts in the eyes of senior group children.It also discusses teachers' interpretation of the causes of senior group children's peer conflicts,the coping strategies of senior group children and the best solution strategies for senior group children's peer conflicts in the eyes of teachers.The results of the study indicate that: 1.The senior group children's peer conflicts are mainly resource competition,rule maintenance and viewpoint disagreement conflicts.2.The senior group children have strong emotional feelings in peer conflicts and most children can perceive peers' emotional changes in peer conflicts.3.The senior group children's peer coping strategies are mostly negative strategies but more children are cognitively inclined to positive or neutral strategies.4.Teachers believe that conflicts between children and their peers the coping strategies of peer conflicts adopted by young children are affected by many factors.5.Teachers tend to adopt positive peer conflict resolution strategies.On this basis,a comparative analysis of the children's peer conflicts from the perspective of senior group children and the perspective of teachers are conducted.The study found that teachers and senior group children have basically the same interpretation of the causes of peer conflict.Besides,teachers can basically correctly interpret the coping strategies of senior group children in peer conflicts.In addition,More children and teachers tend toadopt positive peer conflict resolution strategies.However,there are some differences between senior group children and teachers in their understanding of the causes of peer conflict.The “encounter” and feelings of children and teachers in peer conflict are quite different.And children and teachers have different understandings on specific coping strategies of peer conflict.The research suggestions are put forward at last.1.To solve peer conflict effectively,it's very necessary to listen to children's voices attentively.2.Give the same positive attention and warm care to the children who are involved in the peer conflict.3.Pay attention to the value of peer conflict for the social development of young children.4.Guide young children to try to use positive peer conflict coping strategies.5.Resolving peer conflicts of young children by referring to “Problem Solving Method”.6.Encourage children to discover their peers' flash points.
