Educational innovation has always been a hot topic of global concern.Educational innovation is not only an innovative activity in the field of education,but also revolution in education.It means the process in which a country and a nation's education innovates in the process of practice and achieves its educational goals.The content of educational innovation is very rich,including advanced educational concepts,scientific educational methods,innovative educational technology and so on.The process of educational innovation spreading among members of the educational system through certain media channels for a period of time is called the diffusion of educational innovation.The “Seminar” teaching model originated in Germany was once popular in the world as an educational innovation,and was officially introduced to China in the 20 th century.Although its development in China has gone through twists and turns,it has also become one of the universal models of talent cultivation in Colleges and universities.So far,the academic research on Seminar itself has been numerous,but the research on the development and diffusion of Seminar in colleges and universities is still scarce.Taking the application of Seminar in D University as an example,based on the classical communication theory-innovation diffusion theory put forward by Rogers,this paper explores the dynamic mechanism of education innovation diffusion,the adoption process of the adopters as well as the related factors affecting its diffusion by using the methods of literature,questionnaire and interview,and strives to grasp the law of the diffusion of educational innovation in colleges and universities,and to provide reference for the diffusion of similar educational innovation in Colleges and universities from point to face.Therefore,the main content of this study can be divided into the following four parts:The first part is the introduction.It mainly includes the origin of the research,the significance of the research,the definition of the core concept,the literature review and the research methods used in this study.The second part expounds the diffusion process of Seminar teaching mode in colleges and universities.It mainly includes two aspects:(1)the development of Seminar in Chinese and foreign universities;(2)the development of Seminar in the D university.Throughout the past and the present,clarify the development process.The third part is the main part of this study.This part firstly analyses the dynamic mechanism of educational innovation diffusion in universities,and the elements of internal and external impetus to promote educational innovation diffusion in universities.According to Rogers' innovation diffusion theory,the most important part in the diffusion process,the adopter,the teacher group,is deeply explored through questionnaires and interviews,and the adopter's adoption process is analyzed,and the corresponding conclusions are drawn.In addition,based on the above research,this paper discussed and analyzed the influencing factors of Seminar's diffusion in Colleges and universities.The fourth part is the conclusion and the outlook section.This part mainly reviews the related work of this research,and briefly summarizes the research results,and points out the shortcomings of the research and the improvement points,and looks forward to the more mature and perfect research in the future.
