Research On The Current Situation Of Xinzhou City Primary School Basketball

Since the re-launch of the “MINI basketball” development plan in2018,basketball has been favored by more and more primary school students.How to better develop basketball in primary schools has become the theme of the development of contemporary basketball in China.In this paper,by using the literature material law,questionnaire survey method,interview method,mathematical statistics and other research methods,the xinzhou city seven straight schools students to investigate,and school leaders,to the school physical education teachers,students,parents and relevant experts to research and interview,understand the xinzhou city primary school basketball teaching,extracurricular activities,basketball training and competition situation.The following conclusions are drawn from the research:1.Leaders of primary schools in xinzhou city pay insufficient attention to the development of campus basketball.Although most school leaders support basketball,they are slow in building “one school,one product” and promoting campus “MINI basketball”.The safety of students is a major factor hindering the development of basketball by school leaders.2.The number of basketball courts in xinzhou city's urban primary schools is uneven,and the basketball stands are all of adult height,lacking of low rebounds,the introduction of small basketball equipment and the construction of indoor basketball courts.The survey also found that the school is lack of regular maintenance of existing field equipment,some school basketball equipment is too old phenomenon.3.The age structure of PE teachers in xinzhou urban primary schools is relatively young,with a large number of PE teachers with junior college degrees;The number of professional basketball teachers among physical education teachers is too low to meet the needs of the development of campus basketball.In addition,the school lacks basketball skills and knowledge training for PE teachers,especially for young PE teachers in terms of further education,training and professional title evaluation.4.The design of basketball teaching content and goal in xinzhou urban district primary school physical education is reasonable.Basketball skills are mainly used in senior grades(above grade three)and games are mainly used in junior grades(grade one,two and three).5.Students in xinzhou city's urban primary school are fond of basketball,and parents of the surveyed students are very supportive of their children's participation in basketball.Among them,boys like basketball more than girls,but primary school students' satisfaction with school basketball equipment is low.6.Xinzhou urban primary school is active in participating in the municipal basketball competition,but there are few organizations in the campus basketball competition.Through the questionnaire survey,it is found that although most schools lack the development of campus basketball competitions and the formation of basketball teams,students are enthusiastic about organizing basketball competitions and hope to play basketball games on campus.school leaders and relevant departments need to strongly support the school basketball competition to promote the comprehensive development of xinzhou primary school basketball.
