With the development of quality education and promotion of the students' life-long sports cencept in the management of physical education(PE)in school,the sports reform in school is marching toward the scentifically people-oriented goal.The leaders and PE teachers take more attention to the physical quality of students and the education on the life-long sport cencept than anytime.In addition,as the national economy develops,the physical health of teenagers are highly stressed by parents.The second classroom refers to some teaching activites which are carried out by the school in order to lead students to do during spare time and daily activity time.The purpose is to arouse the physical potencial of students and to enhance their comprehensive quality,especially creativelly practical quality.The teahcing mode of second classroom has got the immense emphasis of many teaching staff.The lanuch of second classrom in PE is of great importance to improve students' physical health and cultivate their sports spirit.with the carried out of second classrom in PE recently.More and more people feel slack and draw little attention.There is a common phenomenon that the marks of academic course are so high whereas the physical mechanism of junior students degrade generally.As the main educational place,a school not only takes the responsibility of transmiting knowledge,but also had better protect the physical and mental health of teenagers.How to explore more effective teaching method in order to improve the physical health of teenagers is the main theme of the school.Thus,this paper makes a study on the situation of PE second classroom in junior schools in Xinfu district of Xinzhou city.The research methods involved in paper include documentary,logical analysis,stastics and so on.The subjects are eight junior schools in Xinfu district.Through investigating the present situation of PE second classroom in these schools,such as the general condition of PE teachers,teaching situation of PE class,students' cognitive knowledge of sports,and the condition of field and facilities,the paper attemtps to explore factors that may affect the progresssion of PE second classroom in junior schools in this area.Apart from proposing some measures,this paper could provide some theoretical references to promote the development of PE second classroom in junior schools in Xinfu district of Xinzhou city,and even in the whole country.The conculsions are as follows:1?The cureent situation of PE second classroom in junior schools in Xinfu district of Xinzhou city is overrraly optimistic,and schools could basilcally meet the learning needs of PE of students.However,the new projects are relatively few,and the traditonal programs are still the focus;2?The teaching goal of PE second classroom in junior schools in Xinfu district of Xinzhou city basically conform to the goal of the reform of PE course;3?There is population imbalance of the PE teachers in Xinfu district of Xinzhou city.The quality of faculty need to be enhanced,and the same as teachers' professional skills;4?The educattional background of the PE teachers in Xinfu district of Xinzhou city is on the medium and high level,which provides good professional demonstration.The age structure of PE teachers is proper,hence teachers have more time and energy to progress the PE second classroom;5?Junior group in Xinfu district of Xinzhou city take a positive attitude which provies a good foundation for PE second classroom.The motive of teachers taking parting in PE second classroom is to develop their own interests,strenghen their health,and improve their sports level;6?Some education managers do not provide enough policy support to PE second classroom.In addition,PE teachers lack learning opportunities and satisfying salary which affects the launch of PE second classroom and teachers' enthusiasm;7?The fileds and facilities in Xinfu district of Xinzhou city could basically meet the teaching needs of PE second classroom,but some special facilities are insufficient.Suggestions for PE second classroom in Xinfu district of Xinzhou city:1?increase new sports,and enhane teaching quality;2?improve the PE teacher resources through various ways in the school;3?enhance the teaching quality and professional skills of PE teachers by multiple channels;4?stress the perfect of curriculum and teaching hours of PE second classroom;5?strenghen the construction of sports fields and facilities;6?school leaders had better enhance the attention paid to the PE second classroom...
