In the new historical period,the ideological and political education in middle schools in our country still faces deep-seated problems,such as the weak ability of educational innovation,the outdated and backward teaching mode,the lack of commonality and individuality in Ideological and political education,the difficulty of internalizing ideological and political views in students' minds and externalizing them into practice,all of which reflect that the traditional ideological and political education model has not met the requirements of the times and is difficult to meet.The demand of students' growth and the expectation of society,the insufficiency of effective supply of Ideological and political education and the structural imbalance are serious problems.At the same time,the progress of modern science and technology,especially the information technology represented by the Internet,promotes the profound transformation of society,and the ideological and political education in middle schools is facing unprecedented challenges.The new curriculum standard of high school ideological and political(2017edition)clearly points out that high school ideological and political education is a comprehensive and activity-oriented curriculum that helps students to establish the correct political direction,improve the core quality of ideological and political disciplines,and enhance social understanding and participation ability.Activity-based curriculum will be "curriculum content activity" and "activity design content".The design principle of activity-based subject curriculum is to highlight the point of view and pay attention to the process.From the perspective of high school students' activity-based curriculum development,it is still in the process of gradual exploration.Moreover,the teaching of activity-based subject courses is mainly carried out in the classroom.Through the design of classroom topics and activities,the curriculumcontent will run along the track of classroom activities.There are not many research and practice results about activity-based subject curriculum,and there is not a lot of successful experience for reference.Compared with the classroom activity teaching of the activity-based subject curriculum,the extracurricular activity teaching of the activity-based subject curriculum lags behind,and the relevant results are rarely published.Based on this,it is imperative to study the extracurricular activity teaching of activity-based subjects.Through the study and understanding of the background,concept,design principles,characteristics and implementation of the activity-based subject curriculum,this paper analyses the importance of carrying out the extracurricular activity teaching of the activity-based subject curriculum in senior high schools.The extracurricular activity teaching of the activity-based subject curriculum is the requirement of the new era.Only when the extracurricular activity teaching and the classroom activity teaching are carried out together,can the important role of the activity-based subject curriculum be brought into full play in cultivating the core quality of the subject and effectively resist the impact of various ideas and ideological trends on students in the information age.It is also feasible to carry out extracurricular activity teaching of activity-based subject courses.Learning the socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era provides the most fundamental theoretical guidance for it.The rapid change of people's ideas provides objective conditions for the development of activity-based subject courses.Various extracurricular activities carried out in middle schools lay a foundation for the development of extracurricular activity teaching of activity-based subject courses,while those carried out in middle schools lay a foundation for the development of extracurricular activity teaching of More and more highly educated talents join the ranks of Ideological and political teachers in middle schools and the ever-changing means of educational science and technology provide a strong guarantee for the extracurricular activity teaching of activity-based subjects.On this basis,the problems in extracurricular activity teaching of activity-based subject courses are summarized,such as the ideological and political teachers equate extracurricular activity teaching with extracurricular activity;the depth of extracurricular activity teaching is not enough,and it is not scattered and concentrated;and the extracurricular activity teaching lacks overall planning.The reasons are that the school does not attach enough importance to the construction of software andhardware environment;there is a gap between teachers and students in understanding the teaching of activity-based subjects;at the same time,teachers' innovative ability is insufficient and students lack innovative thinking training.For the above problems of extracurricular activity teaching of activity-based subject courses,one is to plan the extracurricular activity teaching as a whole.The extracurricular activity teaching of activity-based subject curriculum adheres to the principle of "one does not fall" and "few but refined";it should highlight the point of view,make overall planning across curriculum content and subject core quality;it should also strengthen the integration of extracurricular activities with middle school students and draw lessons from each other.Second,we should improve our understanding and create extracurricular activity teaching of "scattered and concentrated form".Thirdly,we should innovate extracurricular activity teaching and enhance students' innovative spirit and practical ability.It can improve the common ways of extracurricular activities in middle school campuses for extracurricular activities teaching of activity-based subject courses;it can also integrate these different extracurricular activities for extracurricular activities teaching of activity-based subject courses;it can also introduce activities and methods of other disciplines and social fields into
