Teaching reading in the context of the new curriculum reform is the most important part of Chinese teaching.The development of the times calls for innovation,and the root of innovation lies in tapping the essence of tradition.Ye Shengtao is a master of Chinese language education.His educational thoughts are profound and profound,and it has extremely important guiding significance for current Chinese teaching.Reading thought is an important part of Ye Shengtao's Chinese education thought.The ideological system is relatively complete and systematic,which can effectively improve the efficiency of reading to adapt to the development of students and the needs of the times.First of all,the background factors of Ye Shengtao's teaching teaching thoughts can be summarized as follows: the influence of Ye Shengtao's early learning experience,the influence of the three-character form and the influence of the masters of the same generation.Ye Shengtao's old and new educational thoughts in his early years gave him a deep understanding of reading.The role of writers,educators and editors in the later period made his reading teaching thoughts richer and echoed the reading ideology of contemporary Chinese educators.The ultimate goal of Ye Shengtao's teaching reading is to focus on the two concepts of“habit cultivation” and “for no teaching”.The customary cultivation thought runs through the whole theoretical system of Ye Shengtao's teaching reading thought.Reading teaching is to let students develop a good habit of reading books.The cultivation of this reading habit relies on the guidance of teachers.The ultimate goal of teaching reading is to enable students to read and learn by themselves,so as to promote the lifelong development of students,that is,the concept of“teaching,for not teaching”.There are three core elements in Ye Shengtao's teaching reading.One is to coordinate the development of students' reading literacy,including the cultivation of language habits,reading ability and thinking ability.The second is to cultivate students' thoughts and emotions,to arouse the truth,goodness and beauty of human nature,and to improve their personality.It is the church's different reading methods,including intensive reading,skimming and reading,giving students technical guidance.The guarantee of Ye Shengtao's teaching reading lies in the implementation of the coursedesign,teaching process guidance and textbook compilation of teaching reading,mainly answering the question of “how to do it”.Finally,aiming at the current situation of Chinese curriculum reform,this paper puts forward the enlightenment and suggestions of Ye Shengtao's teaching reading thought on the reform of contemporary Chinese curriculum,and responds to the current reading dilemma with "classical reading","wide reading" and "habitual reading",providing strategic training for the teachers and students at school.
