This paper mainly studies the influence of parenting pattern and individual personality traits on social anxiety of senior rural primary school students,and discusses the mediating effect of personality traits on social anxiety and parenting pattern.Focusing on the particularity of senior rural primary school students who are in the early stage of adolescence,293 fifth-grade students and 158 sixth-grade students who were drawn from three primary schools in FengRun district,TangShan city were selected as the research objects.In this study,questionnaires were used to investigate the parental rearing patterns,personality traits and social anxiety levels.The questionnaires used in this study included EMBU,EPQ and SASC.And SPSS17.0 software was used to deal with the data.The overall status and internal differences of senior rural primary school students were examined by descriptive statistics and independent sample t-test.Relation analysis and regression analysis was used to study the relationship between parental rearing patterns,personality traits and social anxiety of senior rural primary school students.The conclusions of this study are as follows:1.Father's excessive interference can predict children's introverted and extroverted(E)level positively;Mother's excessive interference and protection can predict children's introverted and extroverted(E)level negatively;Mother's excessive interference and protection can predict children's emotional stability(N)level positively.2.Father's excessive interference can significantly and positively predict children's social anxiety level.3.The level of introversion and extroversion(E)and emotional stability(N)of senior rural primary school students can significantly predict the level of social anxiety positively.4.The level of introversion and extroversion(E)of senior rural primary school students play a role in the influence of father's excessive interference on social anxiety.
