In recent years,the healthy development of children with mental retardation has been widely concerned by the society,and it is the voice of the times to strengthen the education of children with mental retardation.Action is the important guarantee for the survival and development of children with mental retardation,and balance ability plays an important role in the development of action in children with mental retardation.However,children with mental retardation are usually accompanied by serious motor deficit,which is manifested in the low and weak function of movement coordination,sensitivity and limb balance,especially in the aspect of balance function.It has a serious negative impact on the daily study and life of the group.So it is essential to strengthen the intervention in the balance ability of children with mental retardation.Core strength plus aerobic endurance training may be an effective measure for students with mental retardation to intervene in balance ability,but its effect needs to be tested by teaching practice.This paper adopts the methods of literature,expert interview,experiment and mathematical statistics.In this experiment,36 students with moderate mental retardation in Qizhi School of Shunde District,Foshan City,were divided into four groups,22 males and 14 females.A 12-week follow-up experimental study was carried out.During the experiment,the subjects were trained 4 times a week for 1hour each time.The core strength training was carried out in group A,aerobic endurance training in group B,core strength plus aerobic endurance training in group C,and routine physical education in group D.Test and analyze the balance ability before and after the experiment(standing with closed eyes and one foot to test the static balance ability).The changes of balance ability of students with moderate mental retardation after different sports intervention methods were studied by using the index of walking straight line and walking balance beam to test the dynamic balance ability of students with moderate mental retardation.The aim of this research isto understand the influence of the combination of core strength training and traditional endurance training on the balance ability of children with moderate mental retardation,find a more effective training scheme for the balance ability of the group and enrich the ways and means of rehabilitation training of the group.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The dynamic and static balance ability of children with mental retardation can be significantly improved through the training of core strength in group A.2.Through the training of core strength plus aerobic endurance in group C,the dynamic and static balance ability of children with mental retardation can be significantly improved.3.Core strength training in group A has great advantages in improving the static balance ability of children with mental retardation.4.The training of core strength plus aerobic endurance in group C had great advantages in improving the dynamic balance ability of children with mental retardation.5.The aerobic endurance training in group B and the routine physical education in group D has not obvious effect on the improvement of dynamic and static balance ability of children with mental retardation.
