Teachers,with the historical mission of spreading knowledge,ideas and truth,shoulder the important task of shaping the soul,life and people,are the first resource for the development of education and an important cornerstone for the prosperity of the country,the rejuvenation of the nation and the happiness of the people.Since the 20 th century,with the rapid development of human society and the continuous improvement of the status of education,the issue of professional ethics of teachers has gradually attracted people’s attention.All countries in the world,especially some developed countries,are increasingly aware of the significant impact of the cultivation and improvement of teachers’ professional ethics on the development of education.They have started to study and formulate the standards and norms of teachers’ professional ethics,and have gained valuable and effective experience.Colleges and universities are important places to cultivate the advanced productive forces of the society,which reflects the mode and direction of national economy and social development.To some extent,college education bears more responsibility for the future of the motherland.Therefore,strengthening the moral construction of college teachers is one of the necessary measures to realize the modernization of education in China,which promotes the moral construction of China’s overall citizens and social economic development.With China’s opening to the outside world and the continuous development of world economic globalization,China and the west began to compare and learn from each other in the construction of different teachers’ ethics.As is known to all,Germany is a country with highly developed teacher education.German teachers have extremelyhigh social status and economic treatment,and have cultivated a batch of high-quality talents for Germany,which has become a strong driving force for the sustainable development of German economy.Germany has a long history of normal education,and the high-quality teachers are supported by strict and complete pre-service education training system,excellent teacher education tradition and relevant effective measures.Through the research of this paper,the following Suggestions are obtained: teacher s should strengthen their political orientation and lay a solid ideological foundation.The teacher education work should take educating people as the foundation and give priorit y to the teacher ethics.The party and the state should strengthen the construction of the moral and legal system of teachers in colleges and universities.The government and sch ools should strengthen the sense of responsibility of teachers’ ethics in colleges and univ ersities.
