In the era of knowledge economy,the competition between countries is concentrated on the competition of creative talents,and the cultivation of innovative talents is the most important task at present.Science education is an important way to cultivate students ' creativity and classroom teaching has a profound influence on the creativity development of primary school students.However,many science teachers limit their vision to the external process and link of teaching methods,and do not deeply study how the cultivation of students ' creativity is realized in classroom teaching.This study discusses the following issues based on classroom practice: What is the creativity performance of primary school students in the science classroom? Do teachers ' questions and teaching feedback promote the development of students ' creativity? Does the teaching method and the classroom atmosphere meet the requirements of the development of primary school students ' creativity?This study uses literature analysis method and classroom observation method and Interview method to study the science classroom of a primary school in Wuhan.Based on the theory of creativity cultivation,this paper uses classroom observation to study the creative performance of primary school students,the behavior of teachers,the classroom atmosphere and so on through the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative statistics.Then the factors that affect the creativity development of primary school students in a classroom setup are discussed.After classroom observation,the teacher is interviewed to find out the reasons behind the phenomenon.It is found that primary school students demonstrate good creative personality and motivation in the classroom,but perform poorly in tasks that require creative thinking;the overall classroom atmosphere is relaxed and harmonious,the interaction between the teachers and the students is frequent,and the teachers provide certain guidance to students' thinking.However,the teacher's way of questioning and the type of questions can be improved.There are too many collective questions,simple judgment type of questions and invalid problem proportion,etc.As to the teacher's feedback,there is a lack of inspiration and elaboration.Students are often not given sufficient time to think,nor do they receive adequate and appropriate praise or criticism.Overall,there is the problem of "formality",which does not really promote the development of students ' creativity.To resolve the above problems,this paper puts forward some recommendations from the students',teacher's and environmental aspects.
