The content and requirements of the "Guidelines for Kindergarten Education(Trial)" in the field of language clearly put forward the need to "guide young children to contact excellent children's literary works so that young children can experience the richness and beauty of language.And through a variety of activities to help young children deepen their understanding and experience of the work." As an important and unique form of reading materials,picture books are reading texts that meet the needs of young children's interests and development.They have unique pre-reading value for young children who have not yet possessed the ability to interpret text.On the other hand,picture book reading plays an increasingly important role in kindergarten teaching activities,and gradually expands the scope of radiation to families and communities.The implementation of picture book reading activities in kindergartens also presents a multi-dimensional status quo,which is also reflected in private kindergartens.The Y district selected by the author has a total of 5 small and medium-sized private kindergartens.The picture book reading activities are carried out in kindergartens,but the practice status quo is different.In order to fully clarify the status quo and make targeted educational suggestions,this study is carried out.By means of questionnaire method,interview method,observation method and literature method,this study focuses on the main body of the kindergarten picture book reading activities and related participating groups.The current situation research is carried out from the kindergarten of the implementing subject,the reading activities of the family picture books of the important participants,and the indispensable community picture books reading support system,and relevant educational suggestions are put forward.The study found that the kindergarten picture book reading activities in this area have insufficient understanding,single methods,unscientific evaluation system,parent-child picture book reading activities are not fully developed,thepractice platform is lacking,the community cultural support system does not form a joint force,and the promotion path is missing.This study also looks at the current situation and analyzes the causes.From the point of view of kindergartens,families and communities,the paper put forward the local government's overall measures to guide the implementation of the reading activities of the picture books in Area Y,the construction of the curriculum system of the picture books garden,the effective extension of the activities in the picture books area,the sharing of homes,and community support.It is intended to improve the reading level of picture books in private kindergartens in District Y and promote the all-round development of young children.
