The Assessment About Social Work Services

With the development of social organizations,people have higher and higher requirements for the quality of social service projects.The evaluation of service projects can effectively supervise and guide the operation of the projects,improve the service quality and satisfaction of service objects.However,social work evaluation started late in China,and there are still some problems such as imperfect evaluation system.This paper will take the rehabilitation training project of autistic adolescents in Dalian social service institutions as an example to study the evaluation of social work service projects.Firstly,the author combs the relevant literature,uses the CIPP evaluation model as the theoretical basis,and establishes a set of four-level evaluation index system.Then,using the methods of questionnaire survey,field observation and interview,the autistic adolescents' rehabilitation training projects are empirically analyzed from four aspects: background evaluation,input evaluation,process evaluation and outcome evaluation.Finally,through the evaluation,the author finds that there are three problems in the project: lack of trust between social workers and service objects,social workers' professional ability to be improved,and over-concentration of activity time.In this regard,the author proposes to increase the trust of social workers and service objects,expand the social workforce,improve the quality of service,and flexibly adjust the plan of activities.At the same time,the author also reflects on the existing problems of project evaluation,such as too much emphasis on the effect of index completion,the design of index system is not detailed,and the observation points of evaluation are mainly based on documents,and puts forward reasonable suggestions to balance the various dimensions of evaluation,improve evaluation indicators and enrich the basis of evaluation.
